About China One Buffet

China One Buffet, situated at 421 W Southline St, Cleveland, TX 77327, USA, offers a wide selection of food options for diners. They can be contacted at (281) 592-8881 or mobile phone +1 281-592-8881.

Customers have noted the extensive variety of dishes available at China One Buffet. Despite the exterior of the building appearing somewhat dated, many reviewers have found the food to be satisfying. Notably, the restaurant was open on Christmas Day when many other establishments were closed, providing a valuable service to the community.

However, some customers have mentioned that the buffet can be considered a bit expensive, priced at $16 per person with drinks costing an additional $2 or more. For this price point, some diners were disappointed by the limited seafood selection, specifically the absence of sushi and minimal offerings like clams or mussels, which are often found in other buffets at a similar cost.

On a positive note, the food that was available was generally well-received, with enjoyable flavors and a sense of freshness and proper preparation. The buffet includes several classic Chinese-American dishes, along with appetizers and desserts. If your priority is a broad range of standard buffet fare, China One Buffet could be a suitable choice.

The service at China One Buffet has been highlighted as a strong point. Servers are described as attentive, promptly clearing plates and regularly checking on customers' needs. This efficient and friendly service enhances the overall dining experience.

The restaurant itself is reported to be clean and well-maintained, with ample parking available, making it convenient for families and larger groups. The restroom conditions were described as okay.

In summary, China One Buffet offers a decent all-you-can-eat experience with a good variety of standard Chinese-American dishes and commendable service. However, potential diners seeking a significant selection of sushi or seafood might want to consider other options, especially given the price point.

They have lots of different kinds of food for your taste, although the building looks pretty old from outside but you won’t disappointed with the food. We were there on Christmas that everywhere else was closed but they were the only restaurant open. Everything just perfect. Highly recommend

China One Buffet offers a decent dining experience, but it leans toward the expensive side for what you get. At $16 per person plus an additional $2+ for a drink, the price feels a bit steep, especially considering the food selection. While the buffet does offer a fair variety, I was disappointed to find that there was no sushi and very little seafood, such as clams or mussels—something that many other buffets tend to include at a similar price point. That being said, the food that was available was generally good. The flavors were enjoyable, and everything seemed fresh and well-prepared. There were several classic Chinese-American dishes to choose from, as well as some appetizers and desserts. However, if you’re someone who looks forward to sushi or a wider seafood selection, you might find this buffet lacking in that area. The service was a strong point. Our server was attentive, clearing our plates regularly and checking in to see if we needed anything else. It’s always nice to have friendly and efficient service, especially at a buffet where staff interactions can sometimes be minimal. The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained. There was plenty of parking available, making it a convenient choice if you’re coming with family or a larger group. The restrooms were in an ok condition. Overall, China One Buffet provides a decent meal with good service, but the price might not feel entirely justified given the limited seafood options. If you’re looking for a standard buffet experience with solid food, it’s worth a visit, but if variety and seafood are important to you, you might want to explore other options in the area.

When we were there they'd just set up the steam tables and ALLThe food was cold, like it just came out of refrigeration. The decor was newly done adding a festive atmosphere to the dinning area.

We visited at the end of the Sunday lunch rush. Good selection, good food, price on the low side of normal for a Chinese buffet. The waitress kept us topped off, even though we ended up as the last people in the far left area, cheerful and effective without feeling like she was bothering us. Wide selection of food, everything I tried was good. They did not have sushi on the buffet, which it's kind of unusual for a Chinese buffet these days, but the other food more than made up for it. I did miss pot stickers with sauce, but not every buffet has pot stickers. I would try to avoid the Sunday Rush, it looks like it gets really really busy. They keep the place clean, including the bathrooms from what I saw. Even though they're the only Chinese buffet for miles, they seem to take their food and cleanliness seriously. If you're in the Cleveland Texas area and you like Chinese buffets it is definitely worth a visit.
