About China Menu Restaurant

Welcome to China Menu Restaurant, a cherished Chinese Restaurant in Colorado Springs, serving the local community with delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine from our location at 9673 Prominent Point #110. For those familiar with our history, you might remember us from our original location, where we established a reputation for serving quality food that families truly enjoy. As a "Mom and Pop" establishment, we take immense pride in the food we prepare and the relationships we build with our customers.

Despite some mixed feedback you might find online, we encourage you to experience the China Menu difference for yourself. Many of our loyal patrons, like one who took the time to share their positive experience, have consistently enjoyed our offerings. They specifically mentioned that their family "really enjoys their food" and expressed uncertainty about the negative reviews, highlighting their own "great experiences here." We believe in the quality of our dishes and the dedication of our team.

One of the aspects our customers consistently praise is the friendliness and kindness of our owners. We are a family-run business, and we believe in treating our customers like an extension of our own family. Our commitment to providing a welcoming and hospitable environment is a key part of the China Menu experience. We genuinely appreciate the support of our community and strive to make every visit a pleasant one.

Recent dining experiences at China Menu have been overwhelmingly positive, as evidenced by customer testimonials. One reviewer recounted a recent dinner where their daughter enjoyed the honey chicken, and they savored the Szechuan chicken prepared extra spicy. They specifically highlighted the perfect cooking of the rice, the freshness and perfect preparation of the meat, and the fact that the vegetables were cooked just right, avoiding the overcooked texture common in some establishments. This attention to detail in the preparation of each dish ensures a satisfying and flavorful meal.

Another enthusiastic customer, who considers themselves a connoisseur of good Chinese food after spending time in San Diego, expressed their shock at any negative reviews. They emphatically stated, "THIS is GOOD Chinese food!!!" and praised our reasonable prices and the consistently incredible quality of our food with every order. Their anticipation of ordering a full duck from us in the future speaks volumes about their satisfaction and trust in our culinary expertise. This reviewer's strong recommendation underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional Chinese cuisine.

The atmosphere at China Menu is described as "very low key," allowing the focus to remain on the quality of the food and the service. While we may not boast a fancy or elaborate décor, our priority is to provide a comfortable and welcoming space where you can enjoy a delicious meal without pretense. Our emphasis is on creating a relaxed environment where you can feel at ease while savoring authentic Chinese flavors.

Our service is consistently recognized as friendly, fast, and efficient. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that your dining experience is smooth and enjoyable. We strive to be attentive to your needs without being intrusive, allowing you to relax and savor your meal. The positive feedback regarding our service highlights our commitment to providing a comprehensive and satisfying dining experience.

While the vast majority of feedback is overwhelmingly positive regarding our food quality, service, and value, one customer did offer a minor suggestion for improvement, noting that our house hot mustard "could be a little thicker and stronger!" We appreciate all feedback, both positive and constructive, as it helps us to continually evaluate and refine our offerings to better serve our community.

We knew China Menu when they were at the original location. My family really enjoys their food. I looked at the bad reviews and I'm not sure what was going on, but we have had great experiences here. The owners are so friendly and so kind. We love supporting "Mom and Pop" places. Recently my daughter and I ate dinner at China Menu. She ordered the honey chicken and I ordered the Szechuan chicken extra spicy. Rice was perfectly cooked, meat was fresh and cooked perfectly, as well as the vegetables. The vegetables were not overcooked as many places will do. We had a great meal and we will be back! It's a very low key atmosphere, but they have friendly, fast, efficient service

I truly only review if it’s SUPER good or SUPER bad. I’m honestly so shocked at the overall review. We’ve spent time in San Diego so we know good Chinese food and THIS is GOOD Chinese food!!! the prices are reasonable and the food is incredible every single time we order! I’m excited for when we order a full duck from them one day!! I have never been disappointed with this place! Highly recommend The ONLY thing I would say is their house hot mustard could be a little thicker and stronger!

I ordered a to-go order. The service was great, the man who took my order was kind and said he would wait to prepare my order for an hour because I had a massage next door. I picked up my order and glanced at it. It did not look appealing. I ordered the shumai (pork dumplings), pork buns, and the bbq pork chow fun. Absolutely gross. The noodles were not only dry, no sauce whatsoever, but had a weird spice to them and a pink color. I have never had chow fun that way. The pork was overcooked and dry. The shumai dumplings looked terrible and so dry. Not your regular dumplings. From someone who is part Chinese and grew up near the Bay Area, CA, I have had plenty of amazing Chinese food and dim sum. This was the worst I ever had. I took 1 bite of each kind, my family wouldn’t even try it (we’ve all had better), so it all went in the trash. I’m embarrassed and mad that I spent $45 on 3 dishes were so awful. Look at these white pork buns, they look disgusting as well! Please stop using frozen dim sum or whatever that is, learn how to make it traditionally.

Take out order.Egg rolls tasted of old oil they were fried in, of then, which they apparently used the same used old oil to fry their rice. Horrible taste. After one bite of each, we threw the egg rolls and fried rice out. The Schezwan chicken was bland. And this was a takeout order, on a Saturday evening, of which you'd expect fresh foods. Run, don't walk away from this place!

This one is tough, the dishes had less flavor than Panda Express. We ordered, sesame chicken, beef broccoli, beef chow fun, and ma po tofu. The dishes were bland. For a szechuan food, it was not spicy. I love and want to support local Chinese restaurants but the food here was very lack luster.
