About China Max

Introducing China Max, located at 1201 Boston Post Rd, Milford, CT 06460, USA. This introduction is based on available customer reviews and aims to provide information for local users in US who might be considering restaurants within the Chinese Restaurant category.

Based on customer feedback, China Max offers a menu that includes both Americanized Chinese dishes and ramen. The General Tso chicken and orange chicken are described as having "nice sauces" and being "on par with what you’d expect from an Americanized Chinese restaurant," receiving a rating of 7.5/10.

However, the side dishes received less favorable reviews. The noodles were described as having a "weird taste" and an "interesting after taste," while the rice also had a "weird taste," receiving ratings of 4/10 and 2/10, respectively. Texture-wise, both the rice and noodles were noted to be "cooked to perfection." The cream cheese wontons were criticized for having "scarce" filling and too much dough, receiving a rating of 6.5/10.

On a more positive note, one reviewer specifically recommended the "Ramen side of the menu," describing the "Ebiko Seafood Ramen" as "delicious, hot, and ready in 10 mins," and worth around $16 after tax. This suggests that the ramen offerings might be a highlight of the menu.

Overall, one customer rated their experience at China Max as a 5.5/10, having paid $16.75 for their meal. The reviews suggest a mixed experience, with some main dishes like the General Tso and orange chicken being satisfactory, while the sides and wontons received criticism. The ramen, however, appears to be a recommended option.

For local users in US seeking a Chinese Restaurant that might offer a blend of Americanized Chinese food and ramen, the reviews for China Max provide a glimpse into potential strengths and weaknesses. If you are interested in trying ramen alongside more familiar American-Chinese dishes, exploring local restaurants in US with similar offerings might be worthwhile. So the food was subpar at best. I saw the reviews and still wanted to try it for myself. The Tso chicken and orange chicken were both in nice sauces, on par with what you’d expect from an Americanized Chinese restaurant. However, the sides were absolutely deplorable. Noodles tasted weird with an interesting after taste and the rice also had a weird taste. Texture wise everything was fine. Rice and noddles were cooked to perfection in that regard. The cream cheese wonton could have had more filling and less dough. The filling was very scarce. Here are my ratings: General Tso chicken 7.5/10 Orange chicken 7.5/10 Wonton 6.5/10 Rice 2/10 Noodles 4/10 Overall I rate this place a 5.5/10. I paid $16.75 for everything.

Delicious Ramen. About $16 after tax. I had the Ebiko Seafood Ramen and it was tasty, hot, and ready in 10 mins. Definitely recommend the Ramen side of the menu.

I ordered the one entree and got the smallest plate I'd ever gotten at a place like this. I can't believe I was actually shorted on RICE and chicken. Everything was filled to the brim with fresh food and I watched her be stingy with the rice of all things. The cashier shows me my food and sees my visible disgust so she gives me a little scoop of chicken. No it didn't help. I honestly should've told them to put it back.

Food was so nasty, no one in my family would eat it. The chicken was dry and tasted rotten. The noodles were so greasy and the fountain sodas tasted like dirty water. Both my son and I had explosive diarrhea within the hour of eating, my niece has been throwing up all day. Never again! Beware
