China Mama Express

Ordered some take out. Arrived on time! Crispy beef was as good as all the reviews! Spicy wonton soup and the noodles were good to!

There was a nasty smell in waiting area. We ordered take out. Our food had been sitting on the counter for a good 10 minutes until he figured out it was ours. The food was cold when we got home. We only live under a mile from the location. We had the beef and broccoli. There was only 5 thinly thin slices of beef. And a ton of broccoli. Not worth the price. Needless to say. We will no longer go there. Taste is the spot for good Chinese food.

My son loved China Mama when it was on Jones and Spring Mt. I stopped by here the other day while my car was being worked on. It was around lunch time and I asked if they had a lunch special and they said no , but online it shows a Mama Special Lunch Box. So , I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken which came with White Rice and I got a Soda. It came to $18.87. It took maybe 15 minutes and I ate about half of it there and took the rest home. The chicken was nothing special more like a lesser Panda version. I was a little disappointed. It did have Pineapple Chunks in it as well as pieces of Bell Peppers. I usually get the General Tso's at other Asian restaurants and not all of them put in the Pineapple Chunks. I wanted my son to try it since he liked it so much at the old location , but they were going out to eat that night and the next day he went to work and never ate the leftovers. I personally wouldn't come back here. I've had much better food for the price at other Asian restaurants. Also the guy at the register was wearing a mask which is fine if you are still afraid of Covid or whatever , but I could barely understand him when I asked him a question and made my order. The dining area is small , but clean. It's just too bad the food was almost like frozen grocery store food.

Food is not worth the price. This is the first time going to the express location and we will not be going back. I included a picture of the $16.99 beef and broccoli dish and it had about 7 slivers of beef. We ordered 3 meat entrees and were only given 1 container of rice. I addressed the rice concern and was told that my 1 portion of rice is correct. The rice was less than 2 cups worth of rice. The chicken dishes cost more than a dollar per piece of chicken when you actually count how many pieces you get. We spent almost $100 and feel ripped off.

Needed to go to UMC quick care but needed to get lunch 1st so I looked for restaurants inside the same complex and found this place. Didn't know about this location and glad I found it. Less busy than the one in Chinatown and this is mostly for takeout there are only 2 small tables inside. Got the "must try" crispy beef. However, it was salty and sour. I figured its been a long time since I tried it maybe it was really like that? Then I went to the cashier (he might be the manager?) asked him if it should be that flavor and let him taste it. He said no, it has to be on the sweet side. He gladly replaced and apologized many times. I love how they made it right. Also it smelled like sewer maybe the bathroom is under maintenance 🤔 hope they fix that
