About China King
Welcome to China King, a Chinese restaurant situated at 185 Eureka Towne Center Dr in Eureka, Missouri (zip code 63025). As a part of the Chinese Restaurant category, China King aims to provide a range of Chinese dishes to the local community. They can be reached at (636) 587-7888 or via mobile at +1 636-587-7888 for placing orders or making inquiries.
Based on the limited recent customer reviews available, China King appears to offer flavorful food and friendly service, although there might be some areas for improvement in order accuracy and pricing structure for individual takeout orders. One customer, who was visiting from Pacific and found the local Chinese options lacking, expressed being "quite impressed" with China King. They specifically praised the food as "really good" and stated they would "definitely be going back," indicating a positive first impression and a likelihood of repeat business. This suggests that China King offers a quality of Chinese cuisine that is appreciated by those familiar with other options in the region.
This positive reviewer specifically highlighted a couple of dishes. The "crab rangoon was absolutely delicious," suggesting it is a standout appetizer. They also found the "pork fried rice was amazing," indicating a well-prepared and flavorful staple Chinese dish. Although their experience was with carry out, they noted that the service was "excellent" and the staff was "very friendly," which speaks well to the customer service aspect of China King, even for takeout orders.
However, another customer shared a less straightforward experience with a takeout order. They called in an order for pork fried rice with chicken wings and an addition of broccoli. The reviewer reported that instead of receiving a combined dish, they received a "full order of wings and full order of rice separately." While they acknowledged that the "amount of food I received was plentiful," they questioned the logic of this preparation for a single person seeking a quick lunch. Their expectation was that most places would combine such an order into "one bowl."
The same reviewer also raised concerns about the pricing of their order. For what they intended as a single meal, the total came to "nearly $24," which they felt was "a little ridiculous" compared to their typical $15 spending for lunch. Despite acknowledging that the "food is great," they expressed confusion and frustration about the way their order was processed and charged, even after explaining their request. They were informed that this separate preparation and charging method was the restaurant's standard practice.
Regarding the environment of China King, the provided reviews offer limited details. One reviewer mentioned a carry-out experience, so no information about the dine-in atmosphere is available from their feedback. The other reviewer also focused on a takeout order and the specifics of how it was prepared and priced, without commenting on the physical restaurant itself. Therefore, it is not possible to describe the environment of China King based on the current information.
In terms of services, China King clearly offers takeout, as evidenced by both reviews. The positive reviewer specifically commended the "excellent" and "very friendly" service during their carry-out experience, suggesting a positive interaction when placing and picking up orders. However, the second review highlights a potential issue with order processing and communication for specific requests, particularly for takeout. It is unclear if China King offers dine-in or delivery services based on the provided information. The phone number suggests a direct way to place orders and inquire about available services.
As for features, the delicious crab rangoon and amazing pork fried rice, as mentioned by one reviewer, could be considered highlights of their menu. The generous portion sizes, as noted by the second reviewer (even though it was in the context of a pricing concern for a single meal), might also be a feature for those looking for substantial servings. However, the potential for orders to be prepared and charged separately, even for what seems like a single-person meal request, is a point that potential customers might want to be aware of.
There is no promotional information included in the provided reviews. To find out about any current specials, lunch deals, or other promotions at China King, it would be best to contact them directly at (636) 587-7888 or +1 636-587-7888. Local residents may also want to check online platforms or local community pages for any advertised promotions or updated reviews.
In conclusion, China King in Eureka, MO, appears to be a Chinese restaurant that offers flavorful food, particularly their crab rangoon and pork fried rice, and provides friendly service for takeout customers. However, there might be some inconsistencies or a specific approach to processing and pricing takeout orders that could lead to confusion or unexpected costs for individual diners with specific requests. Potential customers may want to clarify their order details and pricing when placing takeout orders. For those in the Eureka area looking for tasty Chinese cuisine, especially the praised dishes, China King could be a good option to consider.

Customer Reviews
The food was really good. This is the first time we have ever eaten there and we were quite impressed and will definitely be going back. We live in Pacific and there is no comparison to Chinese restaurant in pacific. This food was excellent. The crab rangoon was absolutely delicious. The pork fried rice was amazing. I know we did carry out but the service was excellent. Very friendly.
Called in for takeout and placed and order and I’m not sure what happened. I ordered pork fried rice w/ chicken wings add broccoli. I’m not sure if they misunderstood but they made a full order of wings and full order of rice separately? Normally most places make you a meal in one bowl. For nearly $24 the amount of food I received was plentiful but thats not the point. As 1 person looking to grab a quick lunch and spending $24 on a meal when I typically spend no more that $15 is a little ridiculous. Food is great but I’m not sure where the disconnect is even after explaining myself they told me this is how they normally charge and do it?
On a road trip this happened to be one of the restaurants that had a higher star rating so we stopped. I miss Chinese food being this good! We had the general chicken and crab rangoons. It was all very good! I drive through here a few times a year and this restaurant just got added to my itinerary every time. Thank you so much for the awesome food!
Absolutely not a good experience. This was takeout so I can’t state anything from eating in the restaurant, but our food was absolutely not what I’ve had at any other China King the beef lo mein was not beef lo mein there was not one piece of chicken in our general tso chicken. There was only onion in my vegetable fried rice. We just moved to this area so this is our second attempt there will not be a third.
Work in the area and decided to try it off great reviews but my experience was horrible. Placed a pick up order and came in 15mins later and it wasn’t ready so I paid and sat down and waited. I waited another 15mins before I asked was my order done yet. The girl at the front asked me my order again and realized it had been sitting right there ready 🙄 Older lady apologize but still annoying because I was on break and basically wasted it all there waiting. The food it’s self was not good at all. I asked for no onions in my rice and it was onions all through it plus the rice was not good at all in general. The chicken had white and dark meet mixed when opened up and chewy. The only thing good was the crab Rangoon. Definitely won’t be back. Big no for me
