About China Inn Restaurant

China Inn Restaurant, situated at 3811 Vaile Ave in Florissant, Missouri, serves the local community as a Chinese restaurant offering a variety of dishes within the Asian culinary tradition. As part of the Chinese Restaurant category, China Inn likely provides options for both dining in at their establishment and taking food away for enjoyment elsewhere. While specific details about the restaurant's ambiance and comprehensive services are not detailed in the provided customer feedback, the reviews offer some insight into recent customer experiences regarding their food and service.

The available reviews do not provide any descriptive information about the environment or atmosphere of China Inn Restaurant. Therefore, local users seeking a particular dining ambiance will need to consider other factors or potentially visit the location to form their own impression. Without any positive or negative comments regarding the cleanliness, decor, or overall atmosphere, it is not possible to provide an objective description of the restaurant's environment based solely on the given reviews.

In terms of services, China Inn Restaurant presumably offers a standard menu of Chinese cuisine, including a selection of appetizers, soups, main courses featuring various meats, poultry, and seafood, as well as vegetarian options, and rice and noodle dishes. The mention of specific items like duck and noodles, duck fried rice, and a chicken St. Paul sandwich (which was mistakenly served as shrimp) suggests a diverse menu. It is also evident that they offer takeout services, as both reviewers appear to have obtained food to consume off-premises. To get a comprehensive understanding of their full menu and any additional services such as delivery (if available), local users may need to contact the restaurant directly at (314) 837-8885 or +1 314-837-8885.

The limited customer feedback available paints a concerning picture regarding the food quality and service at China Inn Restaurant. One reviewer expressed repeated disappointment after multiple visits, stating that their "duck and noodles were pretty bland." Furthermore, they reported that the "duck fried rice" consistently lacked an adequate amount of meat. Based on these experiences, this customer concluded that there are "too many other options" and did not recommend China Inn Restaurant.

Another reviewer shared a troubling account of multiple negative experiences. On a previous visit, they ordered a chicken St. Paul sandwich but received shrimp instead, highlighting a significant error, especially considering the reviewer's allergy to shrimp. On a more recent visit, this customer reported being overcharged for rice due to a staff error at the point of sale. While the error was acknowledged, the process of obtaining a refund, particularly due to using Apple Pay, was described as inconvenient and potentially problematic if the customer had urgently needed the overcharged amount. This incident also raised concerns about the restaurant's cash handling practices and the potential for customers to be unknowingly overcharged if they do not request a receipt.

The features of China Inn Restaurant that can be objectively identified from these reviews are limited and primarily negative. The fact that they offer duck dishes (bland duck and noodles, duck fried rice with little meat) and a St. Paul sandwich are specific menu items mentioned. However, the issues with the quality of the duck dishes and the error in fulfilling an order (chicken St. Paul vs. shrimp) do not present these as positive features. The incident involving overcharging and the subsequent inconvenience of obtaining a refund due to a staff error and payment method are also negative aspects highlighted by a customer experience.

Currently, there is no information available in the provided reviews regarding any promotional offers, discounts, or special deals that China Inn Restaurant might be offering. Local users interested in such information would need to contact the restaurant directly or check if they have any online presence (website or social media) where promotions might be advertised.

In conclusion, the limited recent customer feedback for China Inn Restaurant in Florissant, MO, raises significant concerns regarding both the quality of their food and the reliability of their service. One customer described bland food and a lack of meat in a signature dish after multiple attempts, leading to a negative recommendation. Another reviewer reported two separate negative incidents: a severe order error involving an allergen and a financial error resulting in an overcharge and an inconvenient refund process. These accounts suggest potential inconsistencies in food preparation and issues with service and order accuracy. Local users considering China Inn Restaurant should weigh these negative experiences carefully against their own preferences and expectations. It might be advisable to seek more recent reviews from other sources or perhaps consider other Chinese dining options in the Florissant area to ensure a more satisfactory experience. To contact China Inn Restaurant, you can call (314) 837-8885 or +1 314-837-8885.

I tried this place a few time thinking that maybe they had an off night. However, my duck and noodles were pretty bland. Also ordered duck fried rice and they barely put any meat in it twice. I was really disappointed. Too many other options to waste money here. Not recommended

Everytime I come there’s always something. Came here before and ordered a chicken St. Paul but I got shrimp, I’m allergic by the way. I came today and the guy charged me 335. For rice because he double tapped the number 3. Because I apple paid I have to wait to get a $90 refund because they only took what was available on Apple Cash but what if I really needed it. Then he tells me he doesn’t have that much cash in the drawer, I see why. So had I never asked for a receipt I just would’ve been got

I love Chinese food and I have often been disappointed when trying new ones but when I tried China Inn I was not disappointed. We ordered ham fried rice, ham egg foo young, and fried Wong tons which were the only thing I was not a fan of. Over all their food was delicious. I would return and recommend to others.

Great people who work there, and the food is always on point! We had another favorite Chinese restaurant but then we moved and decided to try China Inn... we were not disappointed! The shrimp I've gotten are very big, and everything has been hot and fresh and good quality. Thank you China Inn for the great service and delicious food!
