About China Inn Restaurant

China Inn Restaurant is a "Chinese Restaurant" situated at 1115 N Charles G Seivers Blvd #9 in Clinton, Tennessee. Catering to the local community, China Inn offers a dual service model, providing both takeout options and a buffet for dine-in customers. Based on recent customer reviews, the experiences at China Inn appear to be somewhat varied, with takeout receiving more consistently positive feedback compared to the dine-in buffet service. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of what local users can expect from China Inn, considering both its strengths and areas where customer experiences have been less satisfactory.

The environment of China Inn Restaurant, based on the limited information in the reviews, is described by one customer as having a presentable "seating area." This suggests that the restaurant offers a space for dine-in customers, in addition to its takeout service. However, the lack of more detailed comments about the ambiance makes it difficult to provide a comprehensive description of the dining environment. The fact that one reviewer mentioned the "presentation of the buffet and seating area" as being worthy of two stars (in an otherwise negative review) implies that the visual aspect of the dine-in space might be acceptable, even if other aspects of the experience were not. Local users seeking a specific dining atmosphere may need to visit or inquire directly for more details.

The service at China Inn Restaurant appears to have both positive and negative aspects, depending on the type of service experienced. For takeout customers, the service seems to be efficient and satisfactory, as one reviewer explicitly stated that China Inn is their "favorite take out Chinese spot in Clinton." This suggests a reliable and convenient process for ordering and receiving takeout meals. However, the dine-in service, particularly concerning the buffet, received criticism in one review. A customer recounted a confusing staffing situation where a waitress took their drink order but never returned, requiring the customer to seek assistance from the cashier for a refill and napkins. This indicates potential inconsistencies in the attentiveness and organization of the waitstaff for dine-in patrons. While this may not be representative of all dine-in experiences, it highlights a potential area of concern for customers choosing to eat at the buffet.

The culinary features of China Inn Restaurant include both a takeout মেনু and a buffet. A significant strength appears to be the quality and value of their takeout food. One loyal customer consistently finds the food to be "good" with "generous portions and reasonable prices." Their personal favorites include the Chicken Lo Mein and the Hot and Sour Soup, indicating that these dishes are well-prepared and flavorful. This positive feedback suggests that for those opting for takeout, China Inn is a reliable choice offering satisfying meals at a good value. However, the buffet experience seems to differ. One reviewer found the buffet food to be visually "appetizing" but unfortunately not served hot. They described the food as being "microwaved warm to hard and cold," which is a significant concern regarding food safety and enjoyment. This suggests a potential issue with maintaining the temperature of the buffet items. The availability of a buffet itself is a feature that caters to customers who prefer a wide selection of dishes and the ability to serve themselves.

Specific dishes mentioned in the positive takeout review include Chicken Lo Mein and Hot and Sour Soup. The reviewer's repeated satisfaction with these items suggests that they are consistently well-prepared and flavorful. The negative review of the buffet does not specify which dishes were problematic in terms of temperature, but it implies a general issue across the buffet offerings. The fact that the buffet is available offers a variety of choices that may appeal to some diners, but the reported issue with food temperature is a significant drawback that potential buffet customers should be aware of. The presence of both a takeout মেনু with well-regarded dishes and a buffet with potential quality control issues presents a mixed culinary profile for China Inn Restaurant.

Regarding promotional information, the provided customer reviews do not explicitly mention any ongoing discounts, special offers, or pricing details beyond the takeout being described as "reasonable." The existence of a buffet suggests a fixed price for all-you-can-eat, but the actual cost is not provided. Local users interested in pricing for both takeout and the buffet, as well as any potential promotions or daily specials, should contact China Inn Restaurant directly at (865) 457-5301 or +1 865-457-5301. Inquiring about lunch specials, senior discounts, or any current deals could help customers make more informed decisions about their dining options and budget.

As indicated by the positive review mentioning it as their "favorite take out Chinese spot," China Inn Restaurant clearly offers takeout services. This provides a convenient option for customers who prefer to enjoy their Chinese food at home or on the go. The consistently good feedback for the takeout food, along with generous portions and reasonable prices, makes this a potentially attractive option for local residents. Customers can likely call the provided phone number to place their takeout orders and inquire about the full takeout মেনু. The availability of both takeout and a dine-in buffet caters to different customer preferences and needs within the Clinton area.

In conclusion, China Inn Restaurant in Clinton, TN, presents a mixed picture based on recent customer reviews. While its takeout service is praised for consistently good food, generous portions, and reasonable prices, particularly the Chicken Lo Mein and Hot and Sour Soup, the dine-in buffet experience has been criticized for issues with food temperature and inconsistent service. The restaurant offers both options, catering to different dining preferences. Local users considering China Inn should weigh the positive feedback for takeout against the negative experiences reported with the buffet. For the most accurate information on the menu, pricing for both takeout and buffet, and any current promotions, it is recommended to contact China Inn Restaurant directly at (865) 457-5301. Potential customers may find the takeout service to be a reliable option, while those considering the buffet should be aware of the reported concerns about food temperature and service inconsistencies.

This is our favorite take out Chinese spot in Clinton. Food is consistently good with generous portions and reasonable prices. My favorite is the chicken lomein and hot and sour soup. They also have a buffet as well.

I thought I try and give this restaurant a second try before leaving a review. Unfortunately, like the first time the food looks appetizing but was not hot. More like microwaved warm to hard and cold. The staffing was confusing for a young waitress set me down and took my drink order then never came back so I had to walk to cashier where a gentleman got me my refill and some napkins. Overall (2) stars is for the presentation of the buffet and seating are. Most likely won’t return and take drive to Oak Ridge or Knoxville if want Chinese.

What an absolutely pleasant surprise to find such good food in an unsuspecting location. I never thought of myself as a Chinese food snob but that's what I have turned into. Most Chinese food that I encounter in this area is average. The buffet food at the China Inn today was hot, fresh and flavorful. Whoever is cooking there knows what they are doing. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was amazing and the chicken wings were spot on. Everything I tried had very good flavor including the fried rice. That is a big compliment in and of itself. In my opinion, it is rare to find fried rice with good flavor. My overwhelmingly positive experience was also surprising due to the fact that this was mid afternoon when it wasn't a peak time for customers to be coming in. I will definitely go again even though it is not in my immediate area and I highly recommend the China Inn to those who want to try decent Chinese food at a very reasonable price. It is worth the drive!

Looks can be deceiving! You have to try this place if you like Chinese Food!!! This was our 1st time at this restaurant. (It won't be our last!) My daughter got the buffet too. She loved it. I was very surprised by this place. The buffet was full of many different entrée choices, as well as tons of sides, appetizers, fruits, deserts, and everything you would expect to find on the huge, expensive buffets. The best part & most important is that thier food TASTES AMAZING! Everything was Fresh on the buffet! Not one thing looked like it had been there more that 5 mins! I even made an order for my other two daughters and brought them takeout. They thought it was awesome, even 1½ hours later! A total WIN! This place is a definite YES, YES, YES for me!

China Inn is my absolute favorite Chinese Restaurant in East Tennessee. I've eaten at fancier places and they just do not compare. China Inn has the best General Tso's Chicken I've ever had. No one else even comes close to tasting as good as China Inn's General Tso. If you are eating the buffet, not only will your food be fresh, but it will also be the best deal in town. Their prices can't be beat. Other buffets have a bigger selection to choose from, but again, the food isn't as good as China Inn's and you will pay about $5 more for your meal. I don't like to eat at other Chinese places because I know China Inn is better. I recently tried a very popular Chinese restaurant in Oak Ridge and it was ok, but not as good as the Inn. The next day we went to China Inn and ordered the same meals and it was literally $10 cheaper. I've eaten at China Inn for over 20 years. And they have always been the best! If you want Chinese food in Clinton, don't waste your money at Mr. Wok or whatever other place will pop up over the years, just go to China Inn.
