About China Inn Restaurant

Welcome to China Inn Restaurant, your local Chinese restaurant situated at 1436 Main St, Hamilton, OH 45013, USA. As a Chinese restaurant serving the Hamilton community, China Inn offers a menu of familiar and flavorful Chinese cuisine available for both dining in and taking away. Information regarding the specific environment and ambiance of China Inn Restaurant is not detailed in the provided customer reviews. However, local Chinese restaurants typically aim to provide a casual and welcoming setting for their customers. You can likely expect a comfortable space where you can enjoy a meal with family and friends. For those who prefer to eat at home, China Inn offers convenient carry-out services, allowing you to enjoy their dishes wherever you please.

As a Chinese restaurant, China Inn's primary offering is a selection of Chinese dishes. Based on the available customer feedback, we can gather some insights into their menu highlights. One customer enthusiastically praised their fried rice, describing it as "flavorful" and ranking it among the best they have tried in the area. Fried rice is a staple in Chinese cuisine, often featuring a combination of rice, eggs, vegetables, and various proteins.

Another aspect highlighted by a satisfied customer is their breaded chicken items, specifically mentioning the sweet and sour chicken as being "so well cooked and breaded." They also noted having enjoyed the sesame chicken previously but were particularly impressed with the sweet and sour option. Breaded chicken dishes are popular choices in many Chinese restaurants, offering a satisfying combination of crispy coating and tender chicken.

The same reviewer also commended the pork egg rolls, describing them as "great." Egg rolls are a common and well-loved appetizer in Chinese cuisine, typically filled with shredded vegetables and pork, wrapped in a crispy fried shell.

However, the same review also pointed out a less favorable aspect of their wontons, noting that they seemed to have "like no meat." Wontons are dumplings often filled with seasoned ground meat and served in soup or fried as an appetizer. This feedback suggests a potential inconsistency or a focus on other fillings in their wonton preparation.

Conversely, another customer reported a significantly negative experience. Their review mentioned missing extra cookies that were paid for, a red sauce described as being "as thick as jelly," and an overall dissatisfaction with the taste of the food. They also noted that their girlfriend's crab rangoons had only "a smear of filling." Crab rangoons are typically crispy wonton wrappers filled with a mixture of cream cheese and crab meat. This customer expressed strong disappointment and indicated that it would be their last time ordering from China Inn, despite having left a tip.

These contrasting reviews illustrate the subjective nature of dining experiences and the potential for variability in food quality and order accuracy. While one customer found several dishes to be exceptional, another experienced multiple issues with their order. Potential customers should consider both perspectives when making their decision.

Customer reviews highlight the flavorful fried rice, well-cooked breaded chicken (especially the sweet and sour), and great pork egg rolls as notable positives. However, one review mentioned disappointment with the lack of filling in the wontons and a negative overall experience. As with any restaurant, experiences can vary. We love their fried rice! Its flavorful. One of the best places around we've tried. And the breaded chicken items, like sweet & sour for example, is so well cooked and breaded. I've had their sesame before but I'm loving the sweet and sour. The pork egg rolls are great too. Only thing is the wontons have like no meat. But the entrees make up for that.

Asked and paid for extra cookies, not! Didn’t get them. Red sauce was as thick as jelly. Food didn’t taste that good. Dumped half CB out and never dump Chinese. Girlfriends crab rangoons just had a smear of filling. I even tipped them before I left with my go order. Last time for me!

The food was disgusting, Everything I ordered was horrible the only thing edible was the shrimp fried rice. They gave me fried chicken wings that were too hard to bite into, and when I finally chomped off a piece the meat was black, so basically they gave me some old chicken. The egg rolls were super soggy, most of my order went in the trash, because China Inn thinks that it’s ok to give customers old food. I will never eat there again.

I had ordered the lunch special and was priced at 6.95 on line with is reasonable, but the order was not what I order - bourbon chicken lunch. I ask for steamed rice instead of fried and vegetables added. What I got was rubbery chicken seemed like it was already cooked and given second hand. For this I was charged 7.95. The taste of the bourbon sauce was not good, a bad afternoon taste. I don’t think I will be back.

Food heavy on soy ,bland on spices. I got bourbon glaze chicken and vegetables with rice noodles. There was very little taste difference between the two. And almost no vegetables in meal all rice noodles. Hate to say I won't be back.
