About China Inn chinese restaurant

Welcome to China Inn Chinese Restaurant, located at 37645 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154, USA. For those in the Livonia area seeking Chinese cuisine, China Inn offers options for convenient ordering through platforms like Uber Eats. You can also contact them directly at (734) 462-6708 or their mobile number +1 734-462-6708.

According to a recent customer who ordered via Uber Eats, China Inn is noted for its fast preparation times and generous portion sizes, with the egg roll being described as big. A significant positive mentioned was the availability of Lo Mein as a substitute for rice with the main dish, which was considered the best part of the meal.

However, this same reviewer found the overall flavor of the food to be below average. The hot and sour soup was reported to have no flavor, and the General Tso’s Chicken was described as bland with no spice. Despite these shortcomings, the reviewer indicated a possibility of trying China Inn again in the future due to the great meal options.

Another customer shared a mixed experience. They found the wonton soup in their shrimp with lobster sauce combo to be "fantastic," even considering it some of the best they had ever tasted. However, they were less impressed with the shrimp in lobster sauce itself, noting it was not their favorite but not bad, suggesting it might be a matter of personal preference.

A significant concern raised by this second reviewer was the taste of the fried rice, which they explicitly stated tasted like cigarettes. This unusual and unpleasant flavor was also present in a friend's rice from the same order. The reviewer found this issue perplexing and felt it was important for others to be aware of.

In summary, China Inn Chinese Restaurant offers quick service and large portions, with some menu highlights like the wonton soup and the option to substitute Lo Mein for rice. However, recent reviews also point out potential issues with the flavor profile of certain dishes and, in one instance, a concerning off-taste in the fried rice. Local users may want to consider these varied experiences when deciding to order from China Inn.

Ordered food on Uber Eats app. food was ready fast, generous potions, Egg roll was big. Flavor was below average. Hot sour soup had no flavor, general Tso’s Chicken was bland. No spice. Might try again next time in town, great options with meal. Was excited to see could order LoMein instead of rice with main dish. That was best part of meal and earned 2nd star.

I got the shrimp in lobster sauce combo with some soup. The soup was fantastic, probably some of the better wonton I've ever had. The shrimp and lobster wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't bad, just a personal preference. The fried rice however, tasted like cigarettes. I'm not making this up, and I tried some of my freinds rice who was there with me, and again, the taste of cigarettes. Not sure why or how, but I thought people should know...

First time was good. Second TIME AWLFUL! sesame chicken was very dry no sauce and not fresh tasting. The gravy for egg foe young made me sick almost instantly had a funny taste i called to tell them but they didn't seem to care after already spending $25. Won't go back. All she needed to do was show she cared and maybe i would come back. But nope. And now im about to be 🤢🤮 there goes $25 and a whole alot of food i am throwing away.

Quick service and large portions. The eggroll and the crab Rangoon‘s are delicious. I do not recommend the Mongolian beef. It was very fatty and chewy. I would suggest ordering something else.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. My picture explains it all. Honey chicken had zero sauce & was completely dry. “Fried rice” had no flavor & if you even want to call it fried. What a waste of money…
