About China II
Welcome to China II, a Chinese restaurant located at 757 Crossroads Plaza in Fort Mill, South Carolina (29708), USA. Operating within the Chinese Restaurant category, China II primarily serves the local community through takeout services. You can contact them at (803) 547-1935 or their mobile number +1 803-547-1935 to place an order or inquire about their menu.
As a Chinese Restaurant offering takeout, China II aims to provide convenient options for those seeking Chinese cuisine to enjoy at home or on the go. Based on the available customer reviews, there appear to be contrasting experiences regarding the quality and service offered by this establishment. It's important for potential customers to consider both the positive and negative feedback when making a decision.
One positive review highlights China II as a place that serves Chinese food reminiscent of a local New York City takeout spot. This suggests that for some customers, the flavors are appealing and authentic to a certain style of American Chinese cuisine. The reviewer also notes that the food is consistently hot and fresh, with good overall flavors, which are seen as a welcome contrast to other local spots in Fort Mill that are perceived as bland. Furthermore, this customer found China II to offer a pretty good value for the money in relation to the portion sizes, recommending it for quick Chinese takeout in the area.
However, another, more critical review raises significant concerns about the food quality and customer service. This customer's experience included receiving chicken that was alarmingly undercooked, described as "still giggling." The rice was also reported to be either uncooked or "hard as a rock," indicating potential issues with food preparation. Additionally, the order of two fried chicken meals resulted in the customer receiving only two chicken wings, despite the menu clearly stating a price of $7.75 for four whole chicken wings. When the customer inquired about this discrepancy, they were allegedly asked to pay an additional $12 for more chicken, leading to serious concerns about the restaurant's operational standards and honesty.
The stark contrast between these two reviews paints a mixed picture of China II. While one customer had a positive experience, praising the flavors, freshness, and value, the other reported significant issues with food safety, portion sizes, and customer service. The severity of the issues raised in the negative review, particularly concerning undercooked chicken, is a serious matter that potential customers should be aware of.
Given these conflicting reports, it is challenging to provide a definitive assessment of the environment, services, and features of China II based solely on this limited information. The positive review suggests a focus on delivering hot, fresh, and flavorful takeout food at a reasonable price. The reference to a "local take out spot in NYC" might imply a no-frills environment focused on efficient service and satisfying familiar tastes.
On the other hand, the negative review casts doubt on the consistency of food quality and the reliability of service. Issues such as serving undercooked food, incorrect order fulfillment, and unsatisfactory handling of customer complaints are significant red flags. The discrepancy between the menu description and what was received, coupled with the demand for additional payment to rectify the order, points to potential problems with quality control and customer relations.
Without further information or more consistent reviews, it is difficult to ascertain the typical environment of China II's premises, as it is primarily a takeout establishment. The service seems to be centered around order taking and food preparation for pickup. The features that can be objectively identified are that it offers Chinese takeout and, according to one reviewer, aims to provide flavorful food at a good value. However, the other review contradicts the notion of good value and raises serious questions about the quality and accuracy of orders.
There is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. Therefore, local users would need to contact China II directly at the provided phone numbers to inquire about any current specials or promotions they might be offering.
For local users in Fort Mill looking for a Chinese takeout option, China II presents a dilemma based on the available feedback. While one reviewer found it to be a good choice for flavorful and reasonably priced food, the other experienced significant problems with food quality, portion size, and customer service. Potential customers may want to exercise caution and consider these contrasting experiences before placing an order. It might be prudent to seek more recent reviews from other sources to get a broader understanding of the current state of China II's offerings and service quality.
In conclusion, China II at 757 Crossroads Plaza in Fort Mill, SC, is a Chinese restaurant specializing in takeout. Customer reviews present a polarized view, with one praising its flavorful, fresh food and good value, while another reports serious issues with undercooked food, incorrect orders, and poor customer service. Local users should weigh these contrasting experiences when considering China II for their Chinese takeout needs and may want to seek additional reviews before making a decision.

Customer Reviews
This is the kind of place that serves Chinese food that reminds me of my local take out spot in NYC. Always hot and fresh, good flavors. Lots of local spots around Fort Mill are pretty bland in taste. China II has great flavors and are still a pretty good value for the money to portion size. Definitely recommend for quick takeout Chinese in the area.
I ordered a lunch meal, this chicken is still giggling. The rice is either uncooked or just hard as a rock. I ordered two orders of fried chicken and was given two chicken wings. When I asked what happened they wanted me to pay $12 for more chicken. When it very Clearly says $7.75 for 4 (whole) chicken wings. I am concerned this place probably should not be open.
First time ordering from China II and have to say I was surprised. Its was very good. Other reviews were just ok. Ordered General Tso's Chicken combo, crab ragoon , pot stickers and some chicken and Chicken with Mixed Vegetable. Everything was hot and fresh. Crab Rangoon was super crispy. Will be my new go to for carryout Chinese.
To much rice and I didn't care for the taste. But the Sesame Seed Chicken was very good.
Let's start by saying i was very rushed to like hurry up and order, then was asked, "Was I going?"Me,I'm eating here " the egg drop soup was the fried rice had to be a day old in total I'd sum it up as not very welcoming.
