About China I

China I is a Chinese restaurant located at 4110 US-17, Richmond Hill, GA 31324, USA. As a local establishment in the Chinese Restaurant category, it seemingly offers a buffet option along with other Chinese dishes for dine-in and potentially takeout. They can be contacted at (912) 756-7887 or via their mobile number, +1 912-756-7887.

When choosing a restaurant, it is often helpful to consider the experiences of other diners, which can provide insights into the food quality, service, and overall atmosphere. Online reviews can be a valuable source of such information. However, it is important to consider all feedback critically and recognize that individual experiences can vary.

Recent reviews for China I paint a concerning picture regarding both the food quality and the customer service. One reviewer described the food as "old and dry," suggesting it may have been left out for an extended period, similar to food from a previous day's buffet. This customer also reported an encounter with an "old Chinese lady" who was described as "very rude." When the reviewer commented on the age of the food, they were allegedly told not to return, which they stated they would certainly not do, deeming the meal not worth even a minimal cost compared to the $15 paid.

Another review went so far as to label China I as the "worst restaurant I've ever been too," emphasizing that this was not hyperbole. This reviewer corroborated the previous account of a rude "lady" who reportedly yelled at another customer for a simple request for a soy sauce packet. This suggests a significant issue with the customer service provided at the establishment.

A further review detailed unsanitary conditions, mentioning the presence of flies in one of the food trays. This reviewer also echoed the sentiment that most of the food appeared to have been sitting out for a long time and was "gross." Despite a buffet price of $15, the reviewer felt that the available food was not even worth $10, especially given its stale condition.

These reviews collectively raise serious concerns about the food quality, freshness, cleanliness, and customer service at China I. Potential customers should be aware of this feedback when considering dining at this establishment.

The typical offerings of a Chinese restaurant in the buffet style often include a variety of appetizers, main courses featuring different meats and vegetables, rice and noodle dishes, and sometimes desserts. The expectation is that these items are fresh, well-prepared, and served in a clean environment with attentive and courteous service.

The feedback for China I strongly suggests that these expectations may not be met. The reports of old, dry, and stale food, along with the presence of flies, indicate potential issues with food handling and hygiene. Furthermore, the accounts of rude and unprofessional behavior from staff members, particularly the "old Chinese lady" mentioned in multiple reviews, point to significant problems with customer service.

For local users in Richmond Hill looking for a Chinese restaurant, it would be prudent to carefully consider these recent negative reviews for China I. While every restaurant can have off days or isolated incidents, the consistency and severity of the issues raised in this feedback are concerning.

Given these reports, potential diners might want to explore other Chinese restaurants in the Richmond Hill area that have received more positive recent feedback regarding food quality, service, and cleanliness. Online review platforms can often provide a broader range of opinions to help in making an informed decision.

If one still chooses to visit China I, it would be advisable to carefully inspect the food, particularly if opting for the buffet, and to be prepared for potentially subpar customer service based on the recent experiences shared by other diners.

As a platform aiming to provide objective information about local Chinese restaurants, it is our responsibility to present the available feedback accurately. In the case of China I, the recent reviews indicate significant shortcomings in key areas that are typically important to restaurant customers.

It is important to note that these reviews reflect individual experiences at specific times. However, the recurring themes of poor food quality, lack of freshness, unsanitary conditions, and rude service should give potential customers pause.

Local residents of Richmond Hill seeking a positive experience at a Chinese restaurant may want to prioritize establishments with more favorable and recent reviews that highlight fresh food, clean environments, and courteous service.

In conclusion, China I, located on US-17 in Richmond Hill, GA, is a Chinese restaurant that reportedly offers a buffet. However, recent customer reviews have raised serious concerns about the freshness and quality of the food, the cleanliness of the establishment, and the professionalism of the service. Potential customers are strongly advised to consider this negative feedback and perhaps explore alternative Chinese dining options in the area.

Worst restaurant I've ever been too. No hyperbole. As reviews said, lady was rude from the start. She yelled at another customer for asking for a soy sauce packet. There were flies in one of the food trays, most of the food had been sitting out and was gross. Buffett was $15, but there wasn't even $10 worth of food available if it wasn't already stale.

Fried rice, sesame chicken, mushroom chicken and wanton soup are very good. Sweet and sour chicken was less than average and the egg rolls are standard fare. The service was good. Price for the buffet was decent, too.

The food is gross I seen them take some of the food off the buffet and stick it back in the grease to warm it up. One of our friends that went with us had hair in his food he told the woman and she argued and said it wasn't hair and it was then she tried to give him a new plate and he told her no and she still brought it anyway. We will not go there AGAIN we sould have checked the reviews before we went there if I would have I wouldn't have went.

The food at this restaurant is tasteless and the beef is not tender and salty. The meat and vegetable sauce was too little and the rice was too much. The rice had turned yellow because it had been cooked for too long. The owner woman didn't give me that she had already put me in soy sauce she asked for more. (Only one soy sauce is given per person.) The taste and service were so poor at $12 each, which is more expensive than other places.
