About China House

China House is a Chinese restaurant located at 7829 W Hefner Rd #F in Oklahoma City, OK 73162. As part of the Chinese Restaurant category, it aims to provide local users with a variety of Chinese culinary options. However, recent customer feedback available online presents a mixed perspective on the dining experience at this establishment.

One customer review details a disappointing experience with the Kung Pao Chicken. According to this review, the dish consisted of "literally just long strips of chicken with some extremely spicy sauce on top." The reviewer, who had prior positive experiences with Kung Pao Chicken at other restaurants, noted that the dish at China House did not resemble what they expected. This negative experience led the reviewer to state they would not order from China House again and suggested another local establishment as a preferred alternative.

Another review raises significant concerns regarding the quality and potential safety of the food served at China House. This customer reported ordering chicken wings and specifically confirming that whole chicken wings were provided. However, the order received included only one whole chicken wing along with some "unknown fried balls." This discrepancy led the customer to return to the restaurant for a refund. Furthermore, the same reviewer also ordered shrimp and lobster sauce and found the shrimp to be sour, indicating potential spoilage or improper handling. These issues raise questions about food quality and sanitary practices at China House.

Based on the limited customer feedback available, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the environment, services, and features of China House. The existing reviews primarily focus on negative experiences with specific food items. There is no information provided regarding the restaurant's ambiance, the friendliness or efficiency of the service staff (beyond the issues that led to a refund), or any unique features that China House might offer.

Similarly, there is no promotional information available in the provided text. Without further information from online sources or the restaurant itself, it is impossible to comment on any special offers, discounts, or signature dishes that China House might be promoting.

Given the nature of the available customer reviews, potential local users should approach China House with caution. The reported issues with the Kung Pao Chicken not meeting expectations and, more seriously, the concerns about potentially unsanitary food (the unknown fried balls and sour shrimp) are significant factors to consider. While these are only two individual experiences, they highlight potential inconsistencies in food quality and order accuracy.

It is important to note that these reviews represent individual experiences and may not be representative of every customer's interaction with China House. However, in the absence of positive feedback or more detailed information about the restaurant's offerings and practices, it is difficult to provide a positive or comprehensive introduction.

For local users considering dining at China House, it might be prudent to seek out additional, more recent reviews from various online platforms to gain a broader understanding of the current customer experience. It may also be beneficial to inquire directly with the restaurant about their food preparation practices and the ingredients used in their dishes.

In conclusion, based on the limited and negative customer feedback provided, there are potential concerns regarding the food quality and order accuracy at China House, located at 7829 W Hefner Rd #F in Oklahoma City. The experiences reported with the Kung Pao Chicken and the chicken wings, as well as the serious issue with sour shrimp, suggest that potential customers should exercise caution and seek further information before deciding to dine at this establishment. Without additional positive reviews or specific details about the restaurant's environment, services, and features, a comprehensive and positive introduction cannot be objectively constructed based solely on the provided information.

Ordered Kung Pao chicken and it was literally just long strips of chicken with some extremely spicy sauce on top of it. I've had really good Kung Pao chicken before at other restaurants and this didn't even look like it. Never again. Great Wall is better!

Unsanitary and suspect!! Ordered chicken wings (when I called in the order I confirmed they provide whole chicken wings) I received 1 whole chicken wing and some unknown fried balls. Returned for a refund. Also, ordered shrimp and lobster sauce and the shrimp were sour.

Normally the food is really good, but today I ordered the Mongolian beef. This meal is $16.33 according to doordash, roughly $4-6 more than some of the other beef dishes. It's been really good in the past, but today I received almost nothing but onions. I would never pay $16 for nothing but spicy onions.

Good Chinese food for the price. It's a quick place to stop by when I just don't feel like cooking and don't want to spend too much money. I've never had any problems before, but the hot and sour soup I had tonight was sweet (??). I've never tasted hot and sour soup like that so it really threw me off, but hot and sour soup is such an inconsistently made soup everywhere I go so I won't judge them too harshly because of that. Besides that, my husband loves this place and when he craves Chinese, I know where to go!

You can see the filthy kitchen from the front. Kid went straight from the register to the kitchen and toughed food with unwashed hands. Food took 40 minutes. Everything had a thick gummy sauce, even the vegetable combo. Lo mein was gross.
