Customer Reviews
Good food at a great price and knowing its a family owned business makes it all the better. I had the Sweet & Sour Chicken with Lo Mein as a side and bought more than enough food for my family to have left overs. 10/10 I look forward to eating here again. I also went ahead and uploaded pictures of what the to-go boxes sizes are for comparison as well as their most current menu.
I went to the the restaurant after receiving a egg roll that appeared extremely undercooked to me. I was polite when expressing my concern, but the lady at the front was extremely rude, immediately yelling and insisting that it wasn’t undercooked, calling the situation “crazy.” Despite my calm approach, she was dismissive, loud, and unprofessional. Fortunately, a gentleman I believe was the manager handled the situation respectfully. He listened to my concern and understood that I simply wanted to exchange the egg roll for something else to avoid any potential health risks. The restaurant informed me that this is how they are currently serving their pork. However, I have not seen pork like this before—maybe others have, but this was just my experience. If the pork truly was raw, it’s concerning to think that a child or someone unaware of what to look for might have eaten it without realizing the potential risk. Due to the unprofessional behavior from the staff member, I will not be returning. This was my experience, others might have a better one.
I’ve been coming here for a few years now, at the recommendation of a co-worker, and I’ve never, NEVER, had a disappointing meal. Not one. I drive almost an hour’s distance for this meal because nothing in my area comes close to tasting this good. Service has always been expedient and polite, I don’t know names but by this point I should make an effort to: the male is charismatic and polite, helps with building trust as a returning customer to associate his charm to the brand. The female, while more business oriented, is professional and reminds me of doing business in a Chicago bodega: personable. There’s a simple charm to the place, it’s not fine dining but that’s not what the place is about. Atmosphere reminds me of my childhood, the best food comes from homey places. I’m use to eating tacos from little mom and pop shops with old paint and open grills, and it’s ALWAYS been the best food from such places because that’s where you get the soul. Not fake decor on the walls or fancy dinner plates, but actual rooms that show their history. I cannot recommend this place enough, any time food is brought up I mention this place. Friends, family, my customers at my job… doesn’t matter, I make a point to recommend this spot.
Some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had! The breading was dry and gross. You could see into the kitchen and they had dirty looking bowls of food on a stool maybe a foot away from the floor. The whole restaurant smells like a sewer. This is the closest Chinese restaurant to my apartment and it is very disappointing. Can't wait to see what dumb reply the owner leaves to this nasty food!!! We threw almost all of the food away because it was gross, even the sugar biscuits were hard and overcooked. You need shutdown!!!!
The restaurant itself had an old, musty smell. It appeared disorganized and unprofessional. The sweet and sour chicken was awful. It was all breading that was over cooked with tiny pieces of meat. For the price the food was absolutely NOT worth it. We ended up throwing the chicken away. Would not recommend.
