Recent customer feedback regarding China Garden presents a challenging picture. Several reviewers have expressed significant dissatisfaction with their experiences, citing concerns across various aspects of the restaurant, including food quality, cleanliness, and customer service. It is important for potential customers to be aware of these reported issues.

One customer recounted a negative experience, stating that the "food was not good." They specifically mentioned that the beef was "tough" and had an "odd flavor," leading them to not finish their meal. This reviewer also raised serious concerns about the cleanliness of the facilities, describing the bathroom as "very dirty" and the sink as "horrible." Additionally, this customer reported feeling sick later in the day, although they could not definitively attribute it to the food consumed at China Garden. This feedback highlights potential issues with food quality and hygiene standards.

Another review detailed a negative interaction with a staff member regarding a request to switch noodles. The customer, who has a swallowing disorder, asked to substitute low mein noodles with rice noodles but found the staff member to be "very rude" and "almost mocking" by being "non negotiable" on the substitution. Consequently, the customer was unable to eat the food. Furthermore, this reviewer described the food as "very greasy" and "so disgusting," also noting a concerning smell resembling "cat urine." The shrimp low mein was characterized as "very generic with no vegetables." Based on this experience, the reviewer stated they "would not recommend" China Garden. This feedback raises significant concerns about customer service, food quality, and potentially the overall environment of the restaurant.

The specific dishes mentioned in these negative reviews include beef, low mein noodles, rice noodles, and shrimp low mein. The issues raised range from the texture and flavor of the beef to the preparation and ingredients of the low mein dishes. The lack of vegetables in the shrimp low mein was also noted as a deficiency. These comments suggest potential inconsistencies or issues with the preparation and quality of these menu items.

Given the detailed and negative nature of the available reviews, it is difficult to provide a positive description of the environment, services, or features of China Garden based solely on this feedback. The comments regarding a dirty bathroom and a rude staff member paint a concerning picture of the restaurant's ambiance and customer service approach.

Currently, there is no information available regarding any specific promotional offers or unique features of China Garden that might differentiate it from other Chinese restaurants in the area. The focus of the recent feedback has been overwhelmingly negative, centered on issues of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.

For local users in Winchester seeking a Chinese restaurant, it is advisable to consider the feedback provided by other customers. Not a good experience. The food was not good, the beef was tough and had a weird flavor, I didn’t finish it. The bathroom was very dirty, the sink was horrible. I got sick later in the day, can’t prove it was the food I had.

dined in july, in the summer heat, they had no ac on at all, it was so hot in there i would’ve rather sat outside and ate. bathrooms were disgusting, it looked like it had never been mopped before. tables for dining in were all dirty, none of them were clean. for $60 the food wasn’t the best, flavors were bland, one dish was a chicken vegetable mix and the chicken was super white, boiled with no flavor. the plastic utensils were the dirtiest of all. i went to go grab a plastic fork out of their box, all forks were unwrapped, i saw a black hair laying on the forks, most of them had specks of dirt on it….. just an awful experience
