About China Garden

China Garden is a Chinese restaurant located at 1033 Randolph St #9 in Thomasville, North Carolina. As a Chinese Restaurant, China Garden operates as an all-you-can-eat buffet, offering customers a wide variety of Chinese dishes to choose from for a fixed price. This format typically allows diners to sample different items and eat as much as they like, making it an attractive option for those with hearty appetites or groups with varied preferences.

The limited customer feedback available for China Garden presents a starkly contrasting view of the dining experience. One reviewer described it as a "good place to get your grub on all you can eat buffet!" This positive comment suggests that at least some customers find the buffet to be satisfying and enjoyable, particularly for those looking for a substantial meal with a wide selection of options.

However, another recent review paints a significantly less favorable picture. This customer expressed extreme dissatisfaction, stating that their experience was "not worth $00.16," implying a very low perceived value, especially considering they paid $16.00 for the buffet and a drink. A critical issue raised by this reviewer was that "everything" they tried at 5:30 PM was cold. This is a significant concern for a buffet, where food is expected to be kept at appropriate temperatures for both taste and safety. The reviewer also mentioned a past positive experience, noting that they "used to come here all the time with group of people from work and loved it." This indicates a potential decline in quality or standards at China Garden, as the reviewer concluded by stating, "Not anymore, not ever going back," signifying a complete loss of their patronage due to the recent negative experience.

Considering these two reviews, the current state of China Garden appears to be inconsistent. While it may still offer a satisfying all-you-can-eat experience for some, as suggested by the positive comment, there is a serious concern raised about the temperature of the food being served, which significantly impacted at least one recent customer's experience and led to a previously loyal patron vowing not to return. This suggests that potential customers should be aware of the possibility of encountering issues with food temperature and overall quality.

In terms of services, China Garden primarily offers an all-you-can-eat buffet. This allows customers to serve themselves from a variety of dishes laid out in a self-service format. The price typically includes unlimited access to the food, and beverages are usually an additional cost, as mentioned by one reviewer who paid for the buffet and a drink. The mention of a past group of people from work frequenting the establishment suggests that China Garden may have been a popular choice for group dining, likely due to the buffet format catering to different tastes and appetites.

Features of China Garden, as an all-you-can-eat buffet, would typically include a wide selection of various Chinese dishes, potentially including appetizers, main courses featuring different types of meat, vegetables, noodles, and rice, as well as desserts. The specific types of dishes offered are not detailed in the provided reviews. However, the core feature is the ability to sample a variety of items and eat unlimited portions for a set price. The negative review raises concerns about the quality and temperature of these featured dishes, which would significantly detract from the intended appeal of a buffet.

There is no promotional information available in the provided reviews, such as discounts, special offers, or featured buffet items. The mention of the $16.00 price for the buffet and a drink gives some indication of the cost, but it is unclear if this is a standard price or if there are different prices for lunch, dinner, or weekends. Customers interested in learning about pricing or any current promotions should contact the restaurant directly.

In conclusion, China Garden in Thomasville, NC, is a Chinese restaurant operating as an all-you-can-eat buffet. While one reviewer found it to be a good place for a substantial meal, another recent customer reported a very negative experience due to the food being cold, leading them to vow never to return despite past positive experiences. This stark contrast in feedback suggests potential inconsistencies in the restaurant's quality control, particularly regarding food temperature. Potential customers should be aware of these conflicting recent experiences when considering dining at China Garden. If you are looking for an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet in Thomasville, China Garden is an option, but it may be prudent to inquire about the freshness and temperature of the food before dining. You can contact them at (336) 475-1188 or +1 336-475-1188 for more information.

Not worth $00.16 so can believe it was$16.00 for buffet and a drink. Everything cold at 5:30? Used to come here all the time with group of people from work and loved it. Not anymore, not ever going back.

I love it. I love this place and the people. Food is always great! Coming here is always a good time for me and my family, and it's usually 7 or 8 of us, sometimes 9 or 10. I think my favorite dish is the spicy chicken, but the broccoli chicken is also very good, and the mushroom chicken, and black pepper chicken. Everything is so good. 👍👍

The food that I got off of the bar was cold. I got my rice from the bottom of the pan and it was still cold and sticky! Everything I got to eat off of the buffet bar was cold (shrimp, wonton, spicy chicken and some other type of chicken) Upon checking out I let the lady know that the food was cold and she tried to convince me that it wasn't...lol. I paid my bill and vowed to never come back again. Not to mention that the grade for the restaurant wasn't to my satisfaction but I wanted egg drop soup so I gave in. The soup was actually really good but everything else is a "no" for me...never again!!

Good buffet! The Only place I can find plain pepper chicken. Pretty good lunch price of $6.49 even though the buffet is small.
