About China Express at Aviation Mall

China Express at Aviation Mall is a Chinese restaurant located within the Aviation Mall at 578 Aviation Rd in Queensbury, New York. As a Chinese restaurant operating within a mall food court setting, it likely caters to shoppers and visitors looking for a quick and convenient meal. However, recent customer feedback available online raises significant concerns regarding the quality and preparation of the food served at this establishment. This introduction aims to provide an objective summary of these reviews to inform local users considering dining at China Express at Aviation Mall.

Given its location within a shopping mall, the environment of China Express at Aviation Mall is likely typical of a food court setting, characterized by a bustling atmosphere with shared seating areas. Specific details about the restaurant's own decor or ambiance are not provided in the limited customer reviews. The focus of the feedback is overwhelmingly on the food itself.

The service aspect, based on the available reviews, appears to be a point of concern. One customer recounted a negative experience where their General Tso's Chicken order contained what seemed to be a mixture of leftovers, including bony chicken pieces not typically expected in the dish, along with varying textures and flavors suggesting reuse of old food. This raises questions about the freshness and proper handling of food. Additionally, this customer reported being charged a fee for using a debit card, which is often viewed negatively by consumers. The second review also does not mention positive service, focusing solely on the poor quality of the food.

The features of China Express at Aviation Mall, as perceived through the lens of customer reviews, are unfortunately negative. One of the most alarming aspects highlighted is the poor quality and lack of freshness of the food. One reviewer described their General Tso's Chicken as a "mix of leftovers reused barely warm," containing hard pieces and a combination of sweet and sour chicken with another unidentified type. This strongly suggests a failure to serve freshly prepared meals and a potential practice of reheating or repurposing old food, which is a significant food safety concern.

The same review also criticized the fried rice, noting that while it had good flavor, the quality of ingredients was severely lacking, containing "literally one piece of corn, a pea casing and carrot sliver." This indicates a lack of attention to detail and a potential cost-cutting measure that compromises the overall quality and value of the dish. The customer explicitly stated that the "quality and value isn’t there at all," especially when considering that the prices were perceived as "more expensive than a freestanding restaurant," which is unexpected for a food court establishment.

The second review was even more damning, stating that the General Tso's Chicken, shrimp fried rice, and egg roll all tasted "like they'd been cooked with bathroom cleaner." The reviewer further described a numbing sensation on their tongue after just two bites, leading them to believe the food was "disgusting" and prompting them to throw the entire order away. This is an extremely serious accusation, suggesting potential contamination or the use of inappropriate cleaning chemicals in the food preparation process. The strong warning, "Do NOT eat here!" underscores the severity of this customer's negative experience and their concern for others' safety.

The consistent theme in these reviews is a significant lack of food quality and potential food safety issues. The description of reused leftovers, the lack of fresh ingredients, and the alarming claim of a chemical taste are all major red flags for potential customers. The comparison in price to a freestanding restaurant further exacerbates the negative perception of value.

No promotional information is mentioned in the provided reviews. Given the serious nature of the complaints regarding food quality and potential safety, any promotions would likely be overshadowed by these concerns for local users.

For local users in Queensbury, NY, considering China Express at Aviation Mall for a meal, the recent customer reviews paint a concerning picture. The allegations of reused leftovers, poor quality ingredients, and a potential chemical contamination are serious issues that should give potential diners pause. The negative feedback strongly suggests that the food quality at this establishment is severely lacking and may even pose a risk to health.

Given the gravity of the reported experiences, it would be prudent for local residents to exercise extreme caution when considering China Express at Aviation Mall. While the convenience of a food court location might be appealing, the overwhelmingly negative feedback regarding the food quality and potential safety hazards should be a primary consideration. Exploring other dining options within the Aviation Mall or in the wider Queensbury area that have received more positive and reassuring reviews regarding their food quality and hygiene standards would be a safer alternative.

Chickens have bones but they are not supposed to be inside your lunch! Generals Chicken was mixed left overs reused barely warm a hard some clearly sweet and sour chicken and another type. I figured it would be fresh cause they just opened. More expensive than a freestanding restaurant. Fried rice had good flavor but literally one piece of corn, a pea casing and carrot sliver quality and value isn’t there at all. Got charged .75 for paying with debit card.

Ordered general tsaos chicken, shrimp fried rice and egg roll. All tasted like they'd been cooked with bathroom cleaner. My tongue was numb after 2 bites. Disgusting! Threw it all out. Do NOT eat here!
