China E Buffet, located at 130 W Palm Valley Blvd in Round Rock, offers a Chinese Restaurant experience centered around a buffet format. As a Chinese buffet, it provides a wide array of dishes, allowing customers to sample various Chinese and potentially other Asian-inspired cuisines in an all-you-can-eat setting. This format is often appealing to families and groups with diverse preferences, offering a broad selection of appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts at a fixed price. Based on the limited recent customer feedback available, the overall impression of China E Buffet is somewhat mixed but suggests a reasonably priced option for those seeking a buffet-style Chinese meal in Round Rock. One reviewer described the place as "nice" and found the food to be "okay." They also noted that their late arrival resulted in some dishes not being replenished. Despite this, their overall assessment was not negative, indicating a willingness to return, and they specifically mentioned that the price was "reasonable." This suggests that China E Buffet might offer a budget-friendly option for a diverse meal.

Another customer provided a more specific, albeit brief, comment, stating that the "Crawfish wasn’t good but they had some good food!" This review indicates that while some specific items might not meet everyone's expectations, other offerings at the buffet were found to be enjoyable. The inclusion of crawfish in the buffet selection suggests that China E Buffet might extend beyond traditional Chinese cuisine to include seafood or other regional specialties, aiming to cater to a broader range of tastes.

Given the buffet format, the environment of China E Buffet is likely spacious to accommodate the various food stations and seating for a large number of diners. Buffets typically feature different sections dedicated to appetizers, soups, main courses (often including meat, poultry, seafood, and vegetarian options), rice and noodles, and desserts. The atmosphere is usually casual and geared towards volume and variety, allowing guests to serve themselves at their own pace. While specific details about the decor or ambiance of this particular China E Buffet are not mentioned in the provided reviews, one could generally expect a functional and family-friendly setting.

The primary service model at China E Buffet is self-service through the buffet line. However, restaurant staff would typically be present to assist with seating, drink orders, and clearing tables. The speed and efficiency of service in refilling buffet stations and attending to basic customer needs are often key aspects of a successful buffet restaurant. The first reviewer's comment about dishes not being brought out late in the evening suggests that the replenishment of the buffet might be less frequent closer to closing time, which is a common practice in buffet establishments.

A key feature of China E Buffet, as a Chinese buffet restaurant, is the wide variety of food available at a set price. This allows diners to try small portions of many different dishes, catering to different preferences and dietary needs (though the availability of specific dietary options like vegetarian or gluten-free would need to be confirmed). The potential inclusion of items like crawfish suggests a broader culinary scope than just standard Chinese fare, which could be a draw for customers looking for more diverse options. The reasonable pricing mentioned by one reviewer is also a significant feature, making it an accessible dining choice for many.

Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the customer reviews. However, Chinese buffets often have specific pricing for lunch and dinner, as well as potential discounts for children or seniors. They might also offer special deals on certain days or holidays. To get the most accurate and up-to-date information on any promotions or pricing specials at China E Buffet, it would be best to contact them directly at (512) 218-8881 or +1 512-218-8881 or check if they have an online presence with their current offers.

In summary, China E Buffet in Round Rock offers a buffet-style Chinese dining experience with a wide selection of dishes, potentially including some non-traditional Chinese items like crawfish. While one reviewer noted that food replenishment might be limited closer to closing time and another found the crawfish unsatisfactory, the overall sentiment suggests a reasonably priced option with some good food choices. For local users in Round Rock looking for an all-you-can-eat Chinese meal with variety, China E Buffet is a place to consider, keeping in mind the potential for variability in dish quality and availability depending on the time of visit.

For those in the Round Rock area seeking a Chinese restaurant with a buffet format, China E Buffet at 130 W Palm Valley Blvd offers an accessible option. The reasonable pricing mentioned in one review suggests it could be a budget-friendly choice for families or individuals looking to sample a wide range of dishes. However, the feedback regarding the crawfish and the late-night replenishment indicates that the experience might vary depending on individual preferences and the timing of the visit. It would be prudent to consider these points when deciding whether to dine at China E Buffet.

It was an okay experience. I went with my boyfriend, sister, and nephew on a Sunday, and the place was packed right after church. They handed us a number and called it out when a table was ready, which took about 15 minutes. The place felt a bit cluttered, with toys scattered around for purchase that kids were playing with. While the food was hot and fresh, it didn't impress me much; the only standout items were the egg rolls, veggie rolls, and crab Rangoon, which I would recommend. The dessert options were quite limited, lacking the fresh ice cream you often find. My nephew chose jello, but it had some odd white dots at the bottom. Overall, I didn't think it was worth the $75 we spent.

Pretty much like every other Chinese buffet I've been to. They were working hard to bring out the food but it was extremely crowded, and the wait was very very long. It was a Sunday So that's probably why. I think if I had a choice and I wanted a buffet I'd go to somewhere closer because the food here isn't different enough in my opinion to be worthwhile as I live a long ways away

Food was pretty good. Not a wide variety of sushi. We went towards the end of lunch, due to work schedule, and we were charged for dinner pricing. As they were bringing out fresh food for the dinner crowd- they brought us our check. Was kind of like our time was up and we "weren't the dinner crowd". They expected we were done eating, I assume. Other than that the soups were delicious, crab rangoons were fresh, shrimp in garlic butter sauce along with the clams were tasty. Crabs were small and soft, didn't care for those. Waiter was very attentive when our drinks needed refills. Friendly staff. Clean atmosphere which is always a plus! Also, there is a store front right when you walk in. Seemed a bit awkward, but did not affect the dining experience as it was separate from dining area by a wall. Overall was a decent experience. Just lunch prices should run longer if the lunch food is still out and not the fresher dinner foods
