About China Dragon
For our Singaporean users interested in exploring Chinese cuisine, we've examined recent feedback for China Dragon, located in Denver, Colorado, USA. The reviews present a mixed picture, with one customer expressing significant dissatisfaction while another found the food to be generally good.
One reviewer who ordered the sesame chicken combo platter, which included "fried rice," a mini egg roll, and a cheese wonton, noted a "decent portion size" but expressed a preference for quality over quantity. They were particularly critical of the sesame chicken, describing it as "mostly pieces of breading/tempura" with a very sweet sauce. Additionally, they were disappointed with what was labeled as "fried rice," stating that it looked, felt, and tasted like "flavorless steamed brown rice" lacking vegetables or aromatics, suggesting a lack of proper wok cooking. This reviewer also found it bothersome that requesting a fork and napkin for takeout seemed to be an inconvenience. Overall, based on their extensive experience with Chinese fusion cuisine in various locations, they rated China Dragon as their "least favorite spot" ever visited.
In contrast, another reviewer had a more positive experience, stating that the "Food was hot fresh and tasty." They did mention that the hot and sour soup "could have had more tofu and meat" but concluded that the food was "overall good" with "ample amounts" provided.
These contrasting reviews highlight a potential inconsistency in the food quality and preparation at China Dragon. While one customer found the food unappetizing and the service regarding takeout utensils lacking, another found the food to be hot, fresh, and tasty with generous portions.
For Singaporean users considering this restaurant concept (though it is located overseas), these differing experiences underscore the importance of varied opinions when evaluating a dining establishment. The feedback regarding the "fried rice" not being authentic and the sesame chicken being mostly breading are significant points to consider regarding food quality. However, the positive feedback on freshness, taste (for some dishes), and portion size suggests that experiences may vary.
As China Dragon is located in the USA, Singaporean diners would not be able to directly patronize it. However, this summary of recent reviews provides insight into the potential range of experiences one might encounter at a Chinese restaurant, emphasizing the need to look at multiple reviews to form a balanced perspective.
Key points from the reviews include:
- One reviewer found the sesame chicken to be mostly breading with overly sweet sauce and the "fried rice" to be flavorless steamed brown rice.
- The same reviewer experienced inconvenience when requesting utensils for takeout and rated it as their least favorite Chinese fusion experience.
- Another reviewer found the food to be hot, fresh, tasty, and ample in portion size, with a minor suggestion for the hot and sour soup.
- The reviews present a significant contrast in the overall satisfaction with the food quality and service.
Singaporean users are advised to research local Chinese restaurants thoroughly and consider multiple reviews to gain a comprehensive understanding of their quality and service before making a dining decision.

I ordered the sesame chicken combo platter that comes with “fried rice,” a mini egg roll, and a cheese wonton. Decent portion size, but I’d gladly take quality over quantity. The sesame chicken was mostly pieces of breading/tempura and the sauce was very sweet. Also, I’m not sure why they’re calling it “fried rice” when it just looks, feels, and tastes like flavorless steamed brown rice with zero veg or aromatics. Either they’re not familiar with cooking fried rice in a wok or they just dont care. Lastly, asking for a fork and napkin with takeout seems like a bother. As someone who has eaten Chinese fusion in many states, and a handful of countries outside of the US, this is probably my least favorite spot that I’ve ever been to.
Food was hot fresh and tasty. Hot and sour soup could have had more tofu and meat. Overall good food and ample amounts of it.
I love how in every review you have an excuse to clear things up. You blame it on your customer when they have complaint you say you should have done this you should have ordered this instead of taking accountability. This is not how you run a restaurant. Don’t forget the customer that is paying for their food puts money in your pocket. The customer is your boss and your boss don’t like something you make it right you don’t give your boss excuses like many other reviews. The food is usually great most of the time tonight my rice tasted watery my food was very watered down and it barely had flavor i was completely dissatisfied.
Absolutely the best Chinese food in Colorado! From start to finish you are given a 5 star service with there fantastic employees ensuring you have all you need! And don’t get me started on the food!! We have two picky boys who absolutely loved the food! I truly recommend everyone eating here!! You won’t regret this one!!
I ordered hot and sour soup, the meat in the soup was not good and I wish it had more tofu. I also got the lunch menu sesame chicken, which came with fried rice and an egg roll. The portions were huge but everything besides the soup was under seasoned. I prefer white rice to fried, but since it had almost no flavor it didn’t make a difference.
