About China Doll

Welcome to China Doll, a well-regarded Chinese restaurant located at 150 W Baseline Rd # C in Rialto, California. As a cornerstone of the local dining scene, China Doll offers a diverse menu of Chinese culinary delights, catering to a wide range of tastes. Whether you're a long-time fan of classic dishes or looking to explore new flavors, China Doll provides a convenient and satisfying option for your next meal.

Based on feedback from patrons, China Doll is particularly noted for the freshness of its ingredients. Customers have highlighted witnessing the kitchen staff consistently preparing fresh food, indicating a commitment to quality and ensuring a satisfying dining experience. This dedication to using fresh components likely contributes to the vibrant flavors found in their dishes.

Convenience is also a key aspect of China Doll's service. The restaurant accepts debit cards, providing a hassle-free payment option for customers. This modern convenience adds to the overall positive experience, making it easier for diners to enjoy their meals without worrying about carrying cash.

Among the menu highlights, the noodles at China Doll have received positive mentions, being described as "on point." This suggests that their noodle dishes are a must-try for those who appreciate well-prepared and flavorful noodles. Additionally, the orange chicken is another popular item, praised for its "nice flavor." This classic Chinese-American dish is a favorite for many, and China Doll's rendition seems to have won over customers with its taste profile.

One reviewer, who approached their visit with an open mind despite some initial reservations, shared a detailed account of their experience. This highlights China Doll's willingness to serve all customers and the reviewer's commitment to providing fair assessments. While noting an observation about phone usage by staff, the reviewer also explicitly mentioned that utensils were used for food handling, ensuring hygiene standards were maintained. This level of detail in customer feedback offers valuable insight into the restaurant's operations.

Regarding the food itself, the reviewer found the chow mein to be "weird looking" initially but ultimately "ok." This suggests a unique preparation that might differ from standard expectations, yet still delivers an acceptable taste. The fried rice, on the other hand, was described as "good," with appreciation for not being overly saturated with soy sauce. This indicates a balanced approach to flavoring, allowing the natural tastes of the ingredients to come through.

The chicken with green peas was also well-received, further showcasing the variety and quality of China Doll's offerings. However, the Kung Pao chicken was noted as lacking in chicken and overall taste, with a greater proportion of vegetables. This feedback is valuable for potential customers who have specific preferences for this dish. The reviewer also tried the oil chili, but found it to be not spicy. This is important information for those who enjoy a significant level of heat in their chili oil.

Despite these mixed reviews on specific dishes, the reviewer expressed an intention to return to China Doll to try other items, specifically mentioning the pork and teriyaki chicken. This indicates an overall positive impression of the restaurant and a willingness to explore more of their menu. This return intention speaks volumes about the potential of China Doll to offer satisfying meals.

First time coming here and the food is fresh. I eat at the location and I saw how pack it gets and the cooker was always making fresh food. Price is fair and they accept debit card so that’s nice. Their noodles were on point and the orange chicken has a nice flavor.

First time trying this place. It is always good to find a good Chinese place but is hard to find. I came today even after reading their reviews because I am an equal opportunity reviewer. I have to say that the lady was on her phone but really she never touched my food. She used utensils for the food, so regardless, the phone had no effect. I don't blame her for using her phone. She probably spends 18 hours in this place. The food: At first glance, the chow mein was weird looking, but it was actually ok. The fried rice was good. I can appreciate it when the food is not overly soy-ed. The chicken with green peas was good. The Kung Pao chicken was lacking chicken and taste. And it was mostly veggies. I bought their oil chili, but it was not spicy at all. I will come back to try the pork and maybe even the teriyaki chicken.

Got the 2-item combo: mushroom chicken and beef broccoli w/steam rice and chow mein for lunch around 1pm. Tasted fresh and a lot of food for $10. My mom also enjoyed it. Lady at the cash register was very nice

Again, short and sweet the food was kind of pricey, but my roommate got violently sick on the chicken fried rice. She made me promise never to go there again .but myself I have a cast-iron stomach and I thought the food was OK for the price, but I’ve been better places with far better food for less money. I probably will never go there again.. buyers beware the food may get too sick.
