The Won Ton Soup and Egg Drop Soup are particularly praised, with one local native who has returned to the area after a decade away proclaiming them the best he has ever tasted in a Chinese restaurant. This suggests that their soups are a significant highlight of their menu. For younger diners, the Sweet And Sour Chicken, fried donuts, and fried dumplings are mentioned as favorites, indicating that China City is adept at preparing kid-friendly options that are both delicious and appealing. For entree selections, the Shrimp with Broccoli is noted as a standout, along with what is described as the "best house fried rice ever," suggesting high quality in their main courses and rice dishes.

The environment of China City is described by a returning local as "beautiful" and possessing a "great atmosphere for kids." This suggests that the restaurant offers a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing space that is also family-friendly, making it a suitable option for dining with children. While one reviewer who attempted to dine in experienced a significant delay in receiving service, the positive description of the ambiance from a regular customer indicates that the restaurant aims to provide a pleasant setting for those who choose to eat on-site. In terms of services, China City offers both takeout and dine-in options. One reviewer mentioned getting takeout frequently, indicating that this is a popular and convenient service they provide. Another customer initially intended to dine in but opted for takeout after experiencing a prolonged wait for service. This suggests that while dine-in is offered, there might be occasional inconsistencies in the promptness of table service. However, the positive feedback regarding the food quality for takeout remains consistent. It is advisable for customers planning to dine in, especially during busy periods, to be mindful of potential wait times for initial service. Delivery service is not explicitly mentioned in the reviews, so interested customers may want to inquire directly with China City about this option and any associated delivery areas or fees.

The consistently high praise for specific dishes, especially the soups and the house fried rice, indicates that China City has established strengths in these areas. The positive feedback from a long-time local resident who considers it the number one Chinese food option around Pittsburgh speaks volumes about the restaurant's quality and reputation within the community. The fact that this reviewer, who also frequents another location in the area, distinctly prefers the Aliquippa China City further underscores its unique appeal. The combination of delicious food and a welcoming environment for families positions China City as a strong contender for local diners.

While one customer reported a negative experience with the initial dine-in service, it is important to consider the overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the food quality and overall experience from another reviewer. The discrepancy might suggest isolated incidents or variations in service during busy times. However, the strong endorsement from a local who has been a customer for many years and now introduces it as the best in the region carries significant weight. Potential customers may want to consider this long-term positive perspective alongside the more recent negative service experience.

The mention of "great deals" is a significant feature for budget-conscious diners. While the specifics of these deals are not provided, it suggests that China City offers competitive pricing or special offers that enhance the value of dining there. Local users looking for affordable and delicious Chinese food should inquire about any current promotions or specials available at China City.

In conclusion, China City in Aliquippa, PA, appears to be a highly regarded Chinese restaurant within the local community, particularly praised for its exceptional Won Ton and Egg Drop soups, delicious kid-friendly options, high-quality entrees like Shrimp with Broccoli and their "best house fried rice ever." The restaurant offers a beautiful and family-friendly atmosphere for dine-in, along with convenient takeout services. While one instance of slow initial dine-in service was reported, the overall sentiment from a long-time local resident highlights China City as the number one Chinese food option in the vicinity, further enhanced by the promise of "great deals." Local users seeking a Chinese restaurant with delicious food, a welcoming environment, and good value should consider visiting or ordering from China City.

So I'm a native of this area and I been away for the past ten years and moved back last year, ten months ago. And I'm going to start doing videos for YouTube on the best spots to eat in the area at the best prices. So hopefully the restaurants I review will think that's cool. If I had to pick number one best Chinese food around Pittsburgh, this is the place for sure. There is another location in the area not too far I eat at too and I'm a fan but this location is number one hands down. The Won Ton Soup and The Egg Drop Soup are the best soup I ever tasted in a Chinese restaurant. My son who is a Kindergartner loves the Sweet And Sour Chicken, the fried donuts, and the fried dumplings. My favorite entree is the Shrimp with Broccoli and best house fried rice ever. I get take out a lot but the restaurant is beautiful and great atmosphere for kids. And they give great deals, so China City my number one favorite Chinese in the area.

So first of all, went in there asked for dine in and sat down for a solid 15 minutes waiting for someone to bring us or water or ask us smth but we got bored and had to just order takeout. Food was like, weirdly bad like uniquely gross it's valentine's day i spent the rest of my money on this dinner and like literally can't stomach the food and i am NOT a picky guy and i have munchy. In conclusion, shouts out to the nice white man who told me and my girlfriend about a cool go karting place, and the service got 2 stars because the lady seemed nice enough thank you.

Don't order the wonton soup. There's barely any pork in the wonton and they charged me $8.50 for this. Last time I'll ever order from here.

Just ordered from this place and I'm very disappointed and will never order again and here is why. The food is extremely expensive. I had a large shrimp fried rice, 1 order of chicken wings which they claim was 5 and 3 egg rolls which came to $35.43. The chicken wings were 2 1/2 actual chicken wings cut into 5 pieces. I've never ordered chicken wings from a Chinese restaurant just to have them cut them like that and still call them chicken wings. Last was the delivery driver. I ordered and paid with my card. When the driver arrived he handed me the paper to sign and withheld my food. After I signed and added the tip he took his time to look at how much I tipped before handing me my food. What would have happened if the driver felt like I didn't tip him enough? I could have looked past all that if they didn't cheap me on the chicken wings. Never again I promise you.
