I'm not sure why there's so many negative reviews. I've been here a few times, including placing a big family order for New Years eve dinner so we can enjoy the day and take a break from holiday cooking. The food is always fresh, is cooked while we wait, and it's well seasoned. The food has never been greasy or overcooked and overall the resturant is always clean. The staff is very hard working (they were open during Hurricane Milton cooking with no AC to help feed the community) and they are always kind and friendly. I love this place and will continue to support their business.

This is the closest I've come to finding canadian style Chinese food. Egg rolls, especially. No carrots! Finally! Prices are in line with what you can expect to pay for this style of takeout. Portions are very generous. Unlike other locations, we will return here. The sweet and sour chicken balls as well is pretty close. Also, there are no carrots and peas in the chicken friend rice either 👍. I was very impressed overall. 👏 when we arrived, it was all ready to go and in a sturdy cardboard box. thank you, China Chen! Edit. Recently ordered from here again, and unlike last time, the chicken friend rice had peas and carrots in it. Just to advise.

Very disappointed in the food and service from this restaurant! This place is usually very nice (service and food). That wasn’t the case on 3/17/25. The person who took my order when I called in was brash and I could hear yelling in the background. I should’ve taken that queue and not proceeded with my order but I assumed that they were in the middle of a dinner rush. The Burbon chicken was dry and tasted old, the dumplings were undercooked and the fried rice was bland(even after adding sauce to it). Time to find another place because this one missed the mark.

Our szechuan chicken was barely edible. Egg roll was greasy and looked like it was fried earlier and leftover. This place used to be pretty good but the last 2 years it has gone downhill. From now on we will get from the KFC Plaza in Ruskin. Coats a little more but we'll worth it

Okay so the inside isn’t anything special, but its more for takeout! At least there was a place to sit when I spontaneously decided to eat some of my food at the restaurant. This is my first time ordering their food and I was pleasantly surprised to say it was really delicious! I ordered house lomein and house egg foo young! My food was ready at the time he said it would be! All while I was there, their phone rang off the hook and at several points the line (to order or pick up) was nearly out the door! The younger man at the counter was so fast that you could hardly understand that he was saying “China Chen” when he answered their phone! I would order from them again!! I got a lot of good food for a very reasonable price! I recommend this place!
