China Buffet

So me and the family tried to come in to get something to eat on Sunday come in they were closing at 5 o’clock go in that mean ass lady which is in this picture I guess it’s the manager or owner. She has an attitude every time you go in Plus didn’t give us a discount on this dry ass food that was so sad. I’m done with this place I’m going to hibachi‘s in Madison.

There building need upgrade renovations, it has been in building very long time, the food is not that great, it is kind of dirty in the seating area, the food was not up to standard, I had a had time choosing what to try on their buffet as nothing made sense in selections, I decide to try just vegetables and it was difficult on that too the food sits longer than it should and the meats looked like the were hard from drying out...the waitress tried to be nice she deserves a badge of bravery and honor for trying to make good of what she clearly knows is the restaurant needs a complete makeover. I asked could I try taking some photos that maybe bring more customers to get revenue to fix their business, she refused and said no I could not take photos of the food so I took one photo anyways...

Like Randy Jackson would say “it’s a no for me dawg”. My wife and I know what to expect when we eat at these places. We’ve actually had it in the past and it was pretty good. This time was terrible, this time I had to spit out my food twice. The pizza, undercooked frozen dough, smelled of spoiled fermented yeast. The fried fish, man the fish. It didn’t go down, my body wouldn’t allow me to eat it as it knew that it wasn’t ready for that journey. Terrible food.

The atmosphere needs some attention or a makeover. The food was not appealing, the soup wasn't covered and looked old and caked in its pot, and the salad bar consisted of lettuce, lemon wedges, and dressings. I could find or get a spoon, knife, or bowl. We were left unattended and could not get a drink refill.

Food changed for the better. Must have a new cook. I've been coming here for years. Service is the same. Not over whelming services nor attentive either. Would be better if they labeled the food since it's a problem to ask what it is.To-go are extremely overpriced and the serving portions are shallow. Overall, I'll still come and hope for the small changes.
