About China Buffet II

Welcome to China Buffet II, a Chinese restaurant located at 110 Shallotte Crossing Pkwy in Shallotte, North Carolina. As a Chinese Restaurant operating as a buffet, we aim to provide a wide variety of Chinese dishes for our local community and visitors, offering an all-you-can-eat dining experience. Customers can enjoy a range of standard buffet selections at our location.

China Buffet II offers a buffet-style dining environment where customers can serve themselves from a variety of prepared Chinese dishes. One positive review highlights the affordability of our buffet, stating that the food is a great value for the low price. This suggests that we aim to provide an economical option for those looking to enjoy a substantial meal. The same reviewer also noted that the food was fresh and hot during their visit, indicating a focus on maintaining the quality and temperature of our buffet offerings. They also mentioned attentive staff, contributing to a positive dining experience.

Our primary service at China Buffet II is our all-you-can-eat buffet, featuring a selection of standard Chinese buffet dishes. We also have staff available to assist customers, as noted in a positive review mentioning attentive service. While the reviews do not extensively detail other services such as takeout or delivery, the focus appears to be on the buffet experience within our restaurant.

A key feature of China Buffet II, according to one satisfied customer, is the combination of good food quality and a low price, making it a worthwhile option for those seeking value. The freshness and hot temperature of the food during one visit suggest a commitment to maintaining food standards on the buffet line. The mention of standard buffet dishes implies that customers can expect to find a familiar selection of popular Chinese-American cuisine.

However, it is important to present a balanced perspective based on all available customer feedback. Another reviewer had a significantly negative experience, stating that if they could give zero stars, they would. This indicates a high level of dissatisfaction with their visit to China Buffet II.

A subsequent negative review provided more specific details about a poor dining experience. This customer reported rude staff at the outset, followed by communication issues when they tried to explain a situation. They also noted that the tables were sticky and dirty, raising concerns about cleanliness. Furthermore, some of the food was described as cold, and the drinks tasted funny, indicating potential issues with food and beverage quality. The reviewer also mentioned difficulties when asking to have a funny-tasting drink removed, leading to a negative final impression and a vow never to return to the establishment.

These contrasting reviews paint a mixed picture of China Buffet II. While one customer found the food to be good for the price, fresh, and served with attentive staff, another experienced rude service, cleanliness issues, cold food, and poorly tasting drinks. This significant disparity in experiences suggests potential inconsistencies in service quality, food temperature, and overall cleanliness at the restaurant. Local users should consider both positive and negative feedback when deciding whether to dine at China Buffet II.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available online for China Buffet II. For local users interested in potential discounts, special offers, or information about specific buffet selections or pricing (beyond the mention of lunch for two costing $28), we recommend contacting the restaurant directly at (910) 755-5838 or +1 910-755-5838. The staff will be able to provide the most current details about pricing for lunch and dinner buffets, as well as any ongoing promotions that may be available.

In conclusion, China Buffet II in Shallotte, NC, offers a Chinese buffet experience with a range of standard dishes. While one customer praised the affordable price, good food quality, freshness, and attentive staff, another reported significant issues including rude service, uncleanliness, cold food, and poorly tasting drinks. These contrasting experiences indicate potential inconsistencies in the overall dining experience. Located at 110 Shallotte Crossing Pkwy, Shallotte, NC 28470, USA, China Buffet II can be contacted at (910) 755-5838. Local users are encouraged to consider both positive and negative feedback when deciding whether to visit this Chinese buffet.

For those in the Shallotte area looking for a Chinese buffet, China Buffet II presents a mixed bag of customer experiences. The appeal of a low price and potentially good food quality, as mentioned by one reviewer, might be attractive. However, the serious concerns raised by another customer regarding rude staff, cleanliness, and food/drink quality should also be carefully considered. Local residents may want to weigh these factors and potentially visit during a less busy time to assess the current conditions for themselves.

Can't beat the food for the low price! It's standard buffet dishes and it's really good. Lunch for 2 was $28 which is pretty good. All the food was fresh and hot when we went, as well as attentive staff. Definitely coming back again.

If I could give ZERO stars I would Staff was rude to start, then acted like they didn’t understand what I was talking about when I explained my situation Table were sticky and dirty Some of the food was cold Drinks tasted funny When leaving after telling them to remove the drink that tasted funny is when they act like I was asking the impossible. I will never return to this establishment.

Mold in the food. I’m allergic. Waitresses laughed at me, didn’t get a refund after finding mold in my food.

We came in for a late lunch and it was stocked with so much delicious food. Everything was fresh and hot, there was stream coming off of the food. Hand sanitizer is beside the plates, the sign posted asks you to use it before each trip to the buffet. It wasn't crowded on a Sunday afternoon, it was a relaxed atmosphere.

Honestly, one of the most disgusting meals I have ever eaten. They charged $9 for my 10yr old who literally ate a third of a plate of noodles. The establishment was hot, most of the food was cold, and the building was unclean. Never, never again!
