About China Bistro

China Bistro is a Chinese restaurant located at 8310 Valley Blvd in Rosemead, California, offering a dining experience within the local Chinese Restaurant category. Based on the available customer reviews, China Bistro presents itself as a welcoming establishment with a focus on providing tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere. However, potential diners should also be aware of some practical considerations regarding parking and potential saltiness of the dishes.

One reviewer described China Bistro as a "cozy restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere." This suggests that the ambiance is a significant positive aspect of the dining experience, likely contributing to a comfortable and inviting setting for guests. The same reviewer also praised the staff, noting that they were "friendly and attentive," which indicates a commitment to good customer service and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for patrons. Furthermore, the food was reported to be "served promptly and was delicious," suggesting efficiency in the kitchen and high quality in the taste of the dishes. The reviewer also provided a price point, mentioning that "Entrées averaged around $17 each," which can help potential customers gauge the cost of dining at China Bistro. Overall, this reviewer strongly recommended the place for a "very good meal," indicating a high level of satisfaction with their experience.

Another reviewer provided additional insights into China Bistro, highlighting both its appealing features and some potential drawbacks. This customer noted that the restaurant offers "some outdoor seating," which could be attractive to those who prefer to dine al fresco or for smokers. However, they also mentioned that this outdoor area is "mainly for smokers or when indoor seating is totally packed," suggesting that the primary seating is indoors and the outdoor area might be limited or used as overflow. This indicates that the restaurant is popular and can get crowded, particularly to the point where outdoor seating becomes necessary.

Regarding the food, this reviewer echoed the sentiment that it is "tasty" but added a caveat, stating that it "tends to be seasoned a bit too salty for our group." This suggests that while the flavor profile is generally appealing, some dishes might be heavier on the salt content, which could be a consideration for individuals who are sensitive to sodium levels in their food. It's important to note that taste preferences for seasoning can vary, so this might not be an issue for all diners.

The reviewer also corroborated the first account of the restaurant getting busy, specifically mentioning that "The restaurant does get busy especially on the weekends." This reinforces the idea of China Bistro being a popular choice, which could impact wait times for tables, especially during peak hours on weekends. Potential diners planning to visit during these times should be prepared for a possibly crowded environment.

A significant practical challenge highlighted by this reviewer is parking. They stated that "Parking can be a challenge depending on the time." Furthermore, they described the parking lot as "quite confusing as drivers tend to drive the wrong way while trying to find parking spots or trying to get to the other side of the parking lot." This detailed description suggests that the parking situation around China Bistro can be disorganized and potentially frustrating, especially when the restaurant is busy. Local users planning to drive to China Bistro should be aware of this potential issue and factor in extra time for finding a parking spot.

Finally, this reviewer also commented on the service when the restaurant is crowded, noting that "Service can be a bit slow when it is packed." This is a common occurrence in busy restaurants, where the staff might be stretched thin trying to attend to a large number of customers. Potential diners visiting during peak hours, especially weekends, should be prepared for the possibility of slower service compared to less busy times.

Based on these reviews, the environment of China Bistro can be characterized as "cozy and welcoming" indoors, with the availability of some outdoor seating that might be primarily used when the indoor area is full or for smokers. The atmosphere is likely to be lively, especially on weekends when the restaurant gets busy. The services include dine-in and potentially takeout, although this is not explicitly mentioned. The staff is generally described as "friendly and attentive," although service might slow down during peak hours due to the volume of customers.

The key features of China Bistro include its tasty food, with entrees averaging around $17. The availability of outdoor seating is another feature, albeit with the aforementioned caveats. However, a potential drawback is the tendency for some dishes to be seasoned on the saltier side. The restaurant's popularity, especially on weekends, and the challenging parking situation are also important features to consider.

There is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. Local users interested in China Bistro would benefit from contacting them directly at (626) 307-9328 or mobile phone +1 626-307-9328 to inquire about their menu, current prices, hours of operation, and any ongoing promotions. Asking about the best times to visit to avoid crowds and parking issues might also be helpful.

In conclusion, China Bistro in Rosemead offers a cozy and welcoming environment with friendly service and delicious food, making it a recommended choice for a good meal. However, potential diners should be aware that some dishes might be seasoned on the saltier side and that the restaurant can get very busy, especially on weekends, which might lead to slower service and challenges in finding parking. The availability of outdoor seating is a plus for some. For local users looking for a tasty Chinese meal in a pleasant setting, China Bistro is worth considering, keeping in mind the potential for crowds and parking difficulties during peak times.

We were served food that is not fresh. Meat tastes funny. Talked to the waitress/cashier, and got denial attitude. Portion is small for the price they charge. There are many choices in the area. Won't be back.
