Stopped in today for take out. Walked in did not smell of food being cooked and the restaurant was completely empty. That should have been a sign. I orded orange chicken, sesame chicken and combination lo mein. The chicken is old and reheated more than we once. The fried rice is mushy and tasteless. Usually Chinese food have an amazing aroma, this food does not!!! I tried calling the restaurant to ask if I can bring this back. The owner said he responded he did speak English and bye bye...

The food is fresh and flavorful. Vegetables are purchased the same day they are cooked. The dishes have good prep and spices so that they have a unique and fresh flavor, not just warmed over like some restaurants.

Ever since I moved to Texas 4 years ago, I've been searching far and wide across the city for a good Chinese spot. I've tried easily over 30 different spots but none even come close to China Bristo. I placed a pickup order today and within 15 minutes it was ready. When I went in to pick it up, the lady at the counter made me feel very comfortable, some would say "at home". She suggested I have a seat while she finished boxing my food. Every single thing I ordered was an absolute delight. The dumplings 10/10, the crab ragoons to DIE for. This will be my go to spot going forward. Me and my wife absolutely loved it. Great atmosphere, great food, great people. A must for enjoyers of traditional Chinese cuisine.

I've been coming here for 12 years at least. Mom and pop operations. Some of the best Chinese food here on this side of town! Great owners and more importantly delicious made to order cuisine!

First time here. This place was very good. It's right around the corner from my in-laws house and I wish I had come here sooner. Some of the best Chinese food I've had in town. A definite recommendation.
