China Bell Restaurant

We had not been here in 20 years and decided to check it out again. Food was excellent. Wife got Garlic delight over steamed noodles and the noodles were awesome. Dish was so yum!! I got the Black Pepper Chicken and it was peppery! Not what I expected but it was very much black pepper flavor. I liked it ok but wouldn't get it again. We got the crab Rangoon and rice noodle salad and both were great! Daughter got the Mongolian chicken. Flavor was great! All in all the food was very good and the atmosphere was really cool. Older but very cool. The free ice cream cones was also a nice treat.

After your meal, you are invited to help yourself to complimentary ice cream at a self serve station. Yes! It was a great ending to a good meal. The entrees we chose all had some heat (Garlic Supreme, Mongolian beef and the pepper chicken). The ice cream was quite welcome after this spice. I normally love crab Rangoon but theirs was fully packed with cream cheese and crab. It was too thick for me. Otherwise, nice place. The noodles were amazing. Oh the sesame cucumber salad was excelllent!

It's been 2 years since my last visit. Moved 2000 miles away. I absolutely love the hot and sour soup! Ordered the large bowl. It's meant to share, but I was selfish and enjoyed it all by myself. For my entree, I chose the China Bell Beef Noodles. Delicious! How can ya go wrong with beef, mushrooms, noodles, all covered in gravy/sauce? Ya can't! Really miss this place.

Just came here for the first time and based on all the good reviews, it's worth it. Visited during the lunch special. I had the sweet and sour shrimp, my husband had the lemon chicken. Both were absolutely great. The egg roll that comes with is a really good size and tastes amazing. Probably one of the best I've ever had. My shrimp were so good. The breading wasn't too much, it didn't get soggy, and the crunch was perfect. My husband loved his lemon chicken as well. Both dishes were served with a generous amount of their respective sauces. The lunch special prices make this an easily affordable place to visit as well. We're definitely gonna be back to start working our way through the menu.

Overall awful experience. Took a while to be seated and there was no sense of urgency. Sunday is supposed to have a buffet, we were told the buffet was closing down as soon as two other tables were done. Coke had been in a pitcher and had stuff floating in it. Crab Rangoon were fresh, hot, and not bad. Sweet and sour sauce tastes very ketchup-like. Sesame beef was salty and tasted off. Almond chicken was probably 50% celery. Server never checked on us after refilling the dirty coke with more coke. Came out with food to deliver belching. Felt really like our presence was an inconvenience. The fried rice was also not bad. Shared restroom with lounge was also atrocious. Broken locks in the women's and no working sink in the men's. How are any men washing their hands? Won't be back.
