Welcome to China B1, your neighborhood Chinese restaurant situated at 220 Lewis Ave S in Watertown, Minnesota. As a part of the "Chinese Restaurant" platform category, China B1 aims to provide local users with a variety of Chinese culinary options. While specific details about the restaurant's ambiance and full range of services are not extensively available in the provided reviews, we can glean insights into some of their featured dishes and customer experiences to help you form an initial impression.
Operating as a Chinese Restaurant in Watertown, MN, China B1 contributes to the local dining scene by offering a taste of Asian cuisine. The category of Chinese Restaurant typically encompasses a broad spectrum of dishes, often including appetizers, soups, main courses featuring various meats, seafood, and vegetables, as well as rice and noodle dishes. While the exact menu of China B1 is not detailed in the provided information, customer reviews offer a glimpse into some of their specialties.
Based on the available customer feedback, the environment of China B1 is not explicitly described. However, the focus of the reviews is primarily on the food itself, suggesting that customers are primarily concerned with the quality and taste of the dishes offered. As a local establishment, it likely provides a setting suitable for enjoying a meal, whether for dine-in or takeout, catering to the needs of the Watertown community.
In terms of services, China B1 undoubtedly offers the fundamental services of a restaurant, including food preparation and order fulfillment. The mention of specific dishes being ordered implies that they provide both individual items and potentially combination meals. While one review mentions a specific order including spring rolls and cream cheese puffs, it does not clarify whether dine-in or takeout was utilized. However, it is reasonable to assume that China B1 caters to both preferences, allowing customers to enjoy their meals at the restaurant or in the comfort of their own homes.
The features of China B1, as highlighted by the customer reviews, present a somewhat mixed picture. One customer specifically ordered spring rolls and cream cheese puffs. They found the cream cheese puffs to be "absolutely delicious" and the "best cheese wontons" another reviewer had ever tasted. This positive feedback indicates that China B1 excels in certain appetizer offerings, particularly those involving creamy, cheesy fillings and fried preparations. The enthusiasm for the cheese wontons, in particular, suggests that this could be a signature or highly recommended item on their menu.
However, the same customer who praised the cream cheese puffs had a significantly negative experience with the spring rolls. They described the spring rolls as being small, filled with a mushy interior, lacking flavor, and ultimately "very gross," leading them to not recommend this particular item. This feedback suggests a potential inconsistency in the quality or preparation of different dishes on the menu. It is important for potential customers to consider these varying experiences when making their choices.
The second review, which lauded the cheese wontons, also encourages potential customers not to be swayed by the restaurant's overall rating, suggesting that their positive experience was significant enough to warrant a visit. This implies that despite any potentially negative feedback, there are dishes at China B1 that are highly enjoyable and worth trying. The contrasting opinions highlight the importance of individual preferences and the possibility of varying quality across different menu items.

In conclusion, China B1 in Watertown, MN, is a Chinese restaurant that has garnered both positive and negative feedback regarding its dishes. As a local Chinese dining option, China B1 provides an opportunity to explore some classic Asian appetizers. Potential customers are advised to consider the available feedback and perhaps inquire directly with the restaurant about their menu and any current specials to make an informed decision about their dining experience. I just ordered the spring rolls in the cream cheese puffs. I have to say the cream cheese are absolutely delicious but do not expect spring rolls like you usually order you get four small ones but inside they’re all mushy would not recommend them at all I ate one in the rest I will not touch they had no flavor at all they were very gross.
Very delicious, best cheese wontons I think we have ever had! Don't let the rating steer you away from this place, worth it!!
The best I've had in a very long time! We had take out coconut chicken and curry chicken..pork egg rolls and wontons..sooooo good and a lot of food!!!!
Use to stop in here every other weekend during catfish season until the city didn't want us in there park past 10 pm. It was our go to before we setup for night fishing. The food is very good with excellent service. The portions are quite a bit of food and the wontons are the best out of any Chinese restaurant. I still do go there but not as much since it's out of my neighborhood. And the other thing I love about them they are not checking on you every minute. They leave you alone to eat. I'm an adult, if I need something I get up and ask them. They have five tables and everything you buy they bring out to you. But they don't refill 12oz pop cans so what could they possibly bother you about.
Just ordered some awesome chicken fried rice to go for a quick lunch on the go! Fresh, Fast and Fantastic!
