About China 8 Restaurant

Welcome to China 8 Restaurant, a Chinese eatery located at 2492 Tobacco Rd #5 in Hephzibah, Georgia. As a local establishment in the Chinese Restaurant category, China 8 Restaurant offers Chinese cuisine to the local community. However, based on recent customer feedback available online, it is essential for potential local users to be aware of some serious issues raised regarding the quality of the food and the accuracy of orders.

One customer reported a highly unsatisfactory experience, expressing being "beyond disappointed" after trying China 8 Restaurant due to extreme hunger. Their order consisted of what they believed to be teriyaki chicken with fried rice. However, they received undercooked and mushy chicken that was not teriyaki, along with plain white rice mixed with vegetables instead of fried rice. The primary concern for this reviewer was the undercooked chicken, which they described as "nasty," especially considering the $10 cost of the meal. This experience highlights significant problems with food preparation and order accuracy.

Another customer also shared a very negative review, stating that their food was "nasty" and did not resemble the dish they ordered, General Tso's chicken. They had requested crispy chicken but received a soggy and mushy dish that they likened to "spongy mushy fried flour balls." Additionally, they noted the absence of broccoli, a common component of General Tso's chicken. This reviewer, who claimed to be from Brooklyn, NY, an area known for its Chinese food, was highly critical of the quality, especially considering the $21 cost for two soggy orders. This feedback further underscores severe issues with food quality, taste, and adherence to order specifications.

Based on these two recent customer reviews, there are substantial concerns regarding the food served at China 8 Restaurant. Both reviewers reported receiving dishes that were not only poorly prepared but also significantly different from what they had ordered. Issues such as undercooked chicken, soggy texture instead of crispy, incorrect rice preparation, and missing ingredients were highlighted. These experiences strongly suggest potential problems with the restaurant's kitchen operations, including cooking techniques, quality control, and order fulfillment accuracy.

The provided information does not offer any insights into the environment of China 8 Restaurant. There are no descriptions of the interior decor, ambiance, or cleanliness of the dining area. Similarly, details about the services offered are limited. While it can be inferred that takeout is available, as both reviewers seem to have ordered for consumption elsewhere, there is no mention of dine-in options, delivery services, or catering. Therefore, local users would need to contact the restaurant directly to inquire about the full range of services they provide.

Furthermore, there is no information available regarding any special features of China 8 Restaurant that might set it apart from other Chinese eateries. The negative reviews focus solely on the poor quality of the food received. Additionally, there is no mention of any promotional offers, discounts, or special menu items that might be of interest to potential customers.

In conclusion, the recent customer reviews for China 8 Restaurant in Hephzibah, GA, paint a concerning picture regarding the quality and accuracy of their food. Reports of undercooked chicken, incorrectly prepared dishes, and overall poor taste suggest significant issues that local users should be aware of. Without any positive feedback or information about the restaurant's environment, services, or features to counterbalance these negative reviews, it is difficult to recommend this establishment based on the currently available online feedback. Potential customers may want to exercise caution and consider other Chinese dining options in the area that have received more positive and reliable reviews.

This was nasty. It doesn’t even taste like general Tao. I asked for crispy and got soggy and where’s the broccoli??!!. It was like eating spongy mushy fried flour balls. I’m from Brooklyn NY and we have the best Chinese food! 21$ for 2 soggy orders.

I prefer this china restaurant above all others Food tastes great Cashier is professional and courteous The wait is not long at all As far as the dining atmosphere, there are tables and chairs to sit at but in that same area you will see large boxes stacked on top of each other and there is no real ambience. There is a table for those that are walking in to pick up their food and leave which is a plus

Update, this plate looks good shrimp, big succulent, not, they fall apart mushy in your mouth and the vegetables were raw not crunchy Most of the plate was white rice.this was pre- cooked and heated when I ordered,no telling how long it was cooked before.i noticed alot of the food is precooked and not freshly cooked and then brought out of cool storage and reheated. Egg rolls mushy and cant tell they are pork because you cant see the meat.they look like premixed cabbage and carrots cooked .about done here time to find a place that cooks fresh by order.

Ordered a dish with meat in it, got home... lo and behold, not a single shred of meat. Literally, I sifted it out on a plate to make sure I wasn't crazy. Called, lady said "oh yeah, there's meat, look in the bottom". Told her there wasn't and she muttered and hung up. If you're gonna charge me $15 for beef fried rice, maybe at least TRY to hide it when you skimp out on me? Place is dirty, and the veggie dishes are just cheap frozen veggies (as in, soggy cubes of carrot and peas).
