The environment of China 1 is likely designed to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for its patrons. Depending on its specific style and target audience, the décor might range from classic Chinese aesthetics, featuring traditional motifs, artwork, and perhaps even traditional furniture, to a more contemporary and subtly themed setting with Chinese cultural influences. If it specializes in Szechuan cuisine, the menu would likely feature bold and spicy dishes characterized by the liberal use of chili peppers and Sichuan peppercorns, such as Mapo Tofu or Kung Pao Chicken. A restaurant focusing on Shanghainese cuisine might offer dishes with a distinctive balance of sweet and savory flavors, such as braised pork belly or pan-fried dumplings. Regardless of the specific regional focus, a well-regarded Chinese restaurant like China 1 would strive to offer a diverse menu that caters to a wide range of tastes and preferences, ensuring that both connoisseurs of Chinese food and those new to the cuisine can find something appealing.

Customer Reviews
I got the General Tso's chicken lunch special. The chicken itself was very flavorful with good breading technique. The chicken fried rice had good flavor as well and was NOT dried out at all. The egg roll had a nice crisp, and the inside was fresh and NOT soggy at all. The sweet and sour sauce had amazing flavor and was a big surprise because most sweet and sour sauce taste similar, but this had a unique, better, fresher flavor. I think it may have had real lemon juice or something similar. Their buffet is no longer operating. They informed me that they have tried to have Google update their buffet status, but for some reason, their listing keeps reverting back to showing their buffet is still open. I highly recommend this place.
We buy from here regularly for years now. But every Thanksgiving we get a little bit of everything our family loves. They are consistent, delicious, and large portions. They have never disappointed. Highly recommend the Mongolian chicken but ask for spicy if you like some heat. Also their chicken lo mein is Sons favorite with some sweet and sour chicken. Crab ragoons are always crispy and never greasy like other places. We live 30 minutes from them but always worth the drive.
the food delicious and fast..i personally like the almond chicken.. they always remember me and what i like.. 1 dinner is easily enough food for 2 or more. It’s been a long time but last time i tried the buffet it was excellent. while at the buffet they would cook up fresh crab rangoon and drop off a plate on my table .. very kind and friendly and they appreciate their regulars! today i added 2 shrimp egg rolls with sweet and sour sauce! these folks make fast and delicious food all the time time!.. update! try the orange sesame chicken !
Finally found our fave local Chinese restaurant! Food was great, we got sesame chicken and husband got beef, chicken and shrimp in garlic sauce and it was sooo good. I would highly recommend. Don't be deceived by it's looks, it is delicious and a great price. We are big eaters and we still came home with two full boxes of food after we ate, enough for lunch tomorrow...if it makes it until then!
We read the reviews around Chicago and decided to eat there on our way north. It was a great choice! They were very friendly. The service was great! The food was delicious and hot! The portion sizes filled the plates with stuffed eggrolls that were fantastic! It wasn’t a buffet today but ordering only too a short bit!
