About China 1

China 1 is a Chinese restaurant situated at 8105 La Grange Rd C in Louisville, Kentucky (KY 40222). As a local Chinese restaurant, it aims to provide a variety of Chinese dishes to the community. However, recent customer reviews available online present a mixed picture of the dining experience at this establishment, particularly concerning the quality and content of some of their popular menu items.

One customer reported a significant issue with their order of chicken fried rice. According to their review, the dish they received consisted primarily of onions and yellow rice, with a notable absence of chicken. This discrepancy between the expected contents of chicken fried rice and what was actually received led to considerable dissatisfaction. The reviewer even cross-referenced images in other reviews to confirm their observation, reinforcing their disappointment. This experience resulted in a strong negative sentiment, with the customer stating they would "never it from CHINA!" again, indicating a complete loss of trust in the restaurant's ability to deliver accurate and satisfactory orders.

Another customer shared a similarly negative experience, focusing on the quality of the egg rolls they ordered. This customer purchased two pork egg rolls and one shrimp egg roll, and their feedback strongly advises against ordering any egg rolls from this location. The primary complaint was that the pork egg rolls were predominantly filled with dough and lacked any discernible meat. The shrimp egg roll fared only slightly better, containing what the reviewer described as "maybe two small shrimp," while the pork remained entirely absent. This significant lack of filling in the egg rolls led the customer to conclude that they had wasted their money and would not be visiting China 1 again. Notably, this was their first and last visit, a decision seemingly influenced by the absence of other customers at the time of their purchase, which in hindsight, they felt should have been a warning sign.

In an attempt to address the issue, the customer who ordered the egg rolls contacted the restaurant to voice their complaint about the missing meat in the pork egg rolls. The restaurant reportedly offered a refund, which the customer declined. Instead, they respectfully requested that the restaurant ensure meat is used in their meat egg rolls in the future. This interaction highlights a willingness on the part of the customer to see improvement in the food quality rather than simply seeking compensation for a substandard order.

Based on these two recent reviews, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the environment, services, and features of China 1. The focus of the available feedback is heavily centered on significant issues with the food quality of specific items. There is no mention of the restaurant's ambiance, the friendliness or efficiency of the service staff (beyond the phone interaction regarding the refund offer), or any unique features that might set China 1 apart. Similarly, no information regarding promotional offers or popular dishes beyond the negatively reviewed chicken fried rice and egg rolls can be gleaned from this limited feedback.

It is important to consider that these reviews represent individual experiences at a particular point in time and may not reflect the overall quality or consistency of China 1. However, they do raise concerns about the preparation and quality control of certain menu items, specifically the chicken fried rice and the egg rolls. Potential customers may want to take these experiences into account when considering ordering from or visiting China 1.

Given the lack of positive feedback or information about the restaurant's environment, services, or features, it is difficult to offer a balanced introduction. The available data primarily points to significant shortcomings in the food quality of at least two menu items. Without further information from other sources or a broader range of customer experiences, it is not possible to objectively describe the positive aspects of dining at China 1.

For local users considering China 1, the current online feedback suggests a need for caution, particularly when ordering chicken fried rice or egg rolls. While the restaurant did offer a refund in one instance, the fundamental issue of missing or insufficient ingredients remains a concern. It would be prudent for potential customers to perhaps try other dishes or seek more recent reviews to get a more comprehensive understanding of the current quality standards at China 1.

To obtain more information about China 1, including their full menu, hours of operation, and any potential changes in their food preparation, you can contact them directly at their phone number: (502) 327-6863 or their mobile number: +1 502-327-6863. Visiting the location at 8105 La Grange Rd C, Louisville, KY 40222, might also provide insights into the restaurant's environment and service style. However, based solely on the provided reviews, it is not possible to offer a positive or detailed introduction beyond acknowledging the issues raised by recent customers regarding specific food items.

I ordered two pork egg rolls and one shrimp egg roll. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING Any egg rolls from this location. The egg roll was mostly dough and no meant was present in the pork egg roll. The shrimp egg roll had maybe two small shrimp inside but the pork was missing pork entirely. I called the location after I left and voiced my complaint on the missing meat from the pork egg roll and they offered a refund. I declined a refund and respectfully ask for them to use meat in their meat egg rolls. I wasted my money and will never visit this location in the future. This was my first and last time visiting this location. I should’ve known not to buy anything when they didn’t have any customers.

This actual a pretty good Chinese restaurant for quick take out. Located at Lyndon Station it is the local place for Chinese take out. It’s family owned and they all work very hard behind the counter to keep up with all the orders. It can be very busy. There appetizers are very good, family favorites are the stir fried dumplings and the egg rolls. They do have lunch specials along with house specials (I recommend the Mongolian Beef and the Hunan Chicken).
