Discovered this place today and was very excited to try it out after looking over the menu. There’s a ton of authentic Chinese street food options at very affordable prices, and we ordered a variety to sample. Portions were large, flavors were prominent, and everything was served up quickly. They also offered complimentary soup which was a bonus. There were six of us and we all walked away absolutely stuffed and very content. The folks working there, which I assume to be the owners, were also very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The restaurant itself gave off a cozy and inviting vibe which was nice. Overall, it’s awesome to have a place that offers some very unique food options that you just really can’t find anywhere else in Madison. We’ll definitely be back!
Wow. This might be the contender for most authentic Chinese food in Madison! They even have chicken feet! It looks like it has been open for only a few months, the restaurant could be updated, but the food is amazing and authentic! Loved it!
Went two separate times and both time food is plentiful and delicious. The owner is very welcoming and likes to explain the dishes and the ingredients. Dumplings are slightly different than what you may expect (see photo). They also have free soup that you can eat with your meal. Wonton noodles has a clear light broth, very pleasant. Chongqing noodle soup is spicy but it's the perfect level for me. Note that the chongqing noodle contains peanuts. I look forward to coming back and trying their entire menu eventually! The chinese pizza (as the owner called it) was not my favorite when compared to everything else but my boyfriend enjoyed it. It would be a great snack if you're hungry and on the go.
Great place for yummy and affordable authentic Chinese meals! I’ve went a few times and they have free egg soup and also a quick lunch option where you can pick 3 dishes with rice — it’s a good amount of food at a good price. I’ve also tried ordering their beef noodle soup and their weekend specials: Jian bing guo zi and the beef patty. All of it is good!! More than a couple of times I’ve been there and there are quite a few international students and it seems like a popular spot! The owner is very nice!! He doesn’t speak much English but he is very hospitable!
Tasty, hole in the wall Chinese restaurant with authentic flavors. The owners were very kind and explained the menu thoroughly. There's also American Chinese food available if that's preferable as well. I loved the food, and it's definitely going to be one of my go to places for Chinese food.
