About Chin Garden

Chin Garden is a Chinese restaurant located at 4420 The Plaza setD, 4420 The Plaza, Charlotte, NC 28215, USA, serving the local community within the Chinese Restaurant category. For those in the Plaza Midwood area of Charlotte seeking Chinese cuisine, Chin Garden offers a menu that includes popular dishes such as pepper beef and house fried rice. However, recent online reviews raise concerns regarding the quantity of meat in some dishes and additional charges for condiments, potentially impacting the perceived value and overall dining experience.

Information regarding the dine-in environment of Chin Garden is not detailed in the provided reviews. The focus of the customer feedback is solely on the food itself and the associated costs. Therefore, local users interested in dining at the restaurant would need to contact Chin Garden directly or visit their location to gather information about the ambiance and seating arrangements. The reviews available offer insights primarily into the quality and value of the food received, likely through takeout or delivery services.

The services at Chin Garden, based on the limited reviews, highlight potential issues with value and customer satisfaction. One reviewer who ordered pepper beef expressed disappointment with the very small amount of beef they received. After paying $12 for the dish, they were further surprised to be asked to pay extra for additional packs of sauce, beyond the two of each type they initially received. This experience left the customer feeling that their order was a "mistake that won't happen again," indicating a significant level of dissatisfaction with both the portion size of the main ingredient and the policy regarding condiments.

Another reviewer shared a similarly negative experience with the house fried rice. They reported that the dish contained only four shrimp and an apparent absence of pork or beef, consisting mainly of rice. This lack of the variety of meats typically expected in a "house fried rice" dish led the customer to feel that they had "wasted u money" on the order. This further underscores concerns about the value proposition of the food at Chin Garden, where customers are finding key ingredients to be scarce in relation to the price paid.

The features of Chin Garden, as a Chinese restaurant, would typically include a menu offering a variety of standard Chinese dishes. However, the recent reviews focus on the apparent lack of key ingredients in two specific dishes: pepper beef and house fried rice. In the pepper beef, the minimal amount of beef was a major point of contention. In the house fried rice, the near absence of pork and beef, with only a small number of shrimp, was equally disappointing for the customer. These reports suggest a potential issue with ingredient proportions or quality control in the preparation of these meals.

The policy of charging extra for additional sauce, beyond a limited initial amount, as reported by one reviewer, could be perceived as nickel-and-diming customers and detract from the overall experience. While sauces are often an integral part of enjoying Chinese cuisine, having to pay extra for what might be considered a standard accompaniment can lead to customer frustration and a feeling of being unfairly charged.

Regarding promotional information, the provided reviews do not mention any specific discounts, special offers, or loyalty programs at Chin Garden. The focus of the feedback is solely on the perceived shortcomings of the food quality and value. Local users would need to contact the restaurant directly to inquire about any current promotions or deals they might be offering, although the recent negative reviews might make potential customers hesitant to do so without more positive feedback emerging.

In conclusion, the recent customer reviews for Chin Garden in Charlotte, NC, raise significant concerns about the value and quality of their food. Customers have reported receiving very little meat in dishes like pepper beef and house fried rice, leading to dissatisfaction with the portion sizes relative to the price. Additionally, the policy of charging extra for additional sauce has been viewed negatively. These experiences suggest potential issues with ingredient proportions, value for money, and customer service policies regarding condiments. Local users considering ordering from Chin Garden should be aware of this recent feedback and may want to inquire about the expected quantity of ingredients and the sauce policy before placing an order. Given the negative experiences shared, it would be prudent for potential customers to weigh these concerns carefully when making their dining decisions in the Charlotte area.

Ordered pepper beef and got very little beef. After paying $12, they wanted more money for a few packs of sause. They said all I got was two of each. This place was a mistake that won't happen again.

They're the only Chinese restaurant that I've ever been to that actually sells whole wings. IMO... They're one of the best Chinese restaurants in Charlotte. I've never had a bad experience and definitely reasonably priced.

I work in the area figured this would be a great place to order since it was close. I call in my order no problem, it when I can to pick up my food is where the problem reside at. The restaurant unfortunately do not take card payment. We are living in the age where Card payment is the natural norm!!!! The fact that that’s your ONLY MEANA OF PAYMENT is quite ridiculous being that it’s 2022. Needless to say the whole $60 dollar order was happily left!!!! When trying to express to the young man up front he was extremely rude and further confirm that my choice for food today was a very bad decision indeed.🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
