Chili Thai II, situated at 1215 Main St D in Windsor, Colorado, presents a unique dining option for local users by offering a fusion of both Chinese and Thai cuisines. Categorized as a Chinese restaurant (among other potential classifications due to its dual offerings), Chili Thai II aims to cater to a broad range of palates seeking diverse Asian flavors. This establishment provides a convenient location in Windsor with the added benefit of ample parking spaces, making it easily accessible for both lunch and dinner.
For those interested in experiencing the culinary offerings of Chili Thai II, they can be contacted at (970) 686-9168 or via their mobile number +1 970-686-9168. These contact details are essential for making inquiries about their extensive menu, placing orders for takeout, or confirming their operating hours and dine-in availability.
The customer reviews available provide a mixed but generally positive overview of Chili Thai II. One reviewer succinctly describes it as "a good Chinese/Thai restaurant" and reiterates its convenient location with plenty of parking. This positive initial assessment highlights the restaurant's accessibility, which is a significant factor for local diners.
Another reviewer offers more detailed praise, emphasizing the "very generous portions for lunch and dinner" and the "great service." They also note that the meals are "tasty," "prepared quickly," and served "fresh," all while being "very affordable." This comprehensive positive feedback suggests that Chili Thai II excels in providing value for money through substantial servings of well-prepared food with efficient and friendly service. The reviewer also confirms the presence of both Chinese and Thai dishes on the menu, offering "plenty to choose from for a nice lunch or dinner," and concludes with a strong recommendation: "Highly recommend!!!"
However, a third review introduces a more nuanced perspective. This customer ordered the moo goo gai pan, a classic Chinese dish, and found it to be "pretty bland" and "underwhelming" due to a lack of seasoning, despite noting that the vegetables themselves were good. Additionally, they mentioned that the portion of white rice served with the dish was smaller than expected, which did not help balance the meal. While acknowledging that the overall experience was "okay," it was not as satisfying as hoped. In contrast, this reviewer also tried a bite of their friend's sesame chicken (another Chinese dish) and found it to be "really nice and flavorful," indicating that the quality and taste may vary across different menu items.
Considering these reviews collectively, Chili Thai II appears to be a restaurant that generally offers good value with generous portions and commendable service. Its dual focus on Chinese and Thai cuisine provides a wide array of options for diners. However, the feedback on the moo goo gai pan suggests that consistency in flavor might be an area for potential improvement, while other dishes, like the sesame chicken, receive high praise. The convenient location and ample parking are consistently highlighted as benefits.
Information regarding the specific environment or ambiance of Chili Thai II is not detailed in the provided reviews. Given its description as a "good Chinese/Thai restaurant" in a convenient location, it might be inferred that the atmosphere is likely casual and welcoming, catering to both individuals and groups seeking a satisfying meal without a particularly formal setting. The focus seems to be more on the food and service rather than elaborate decor.
The services offered by Chili Thai II likely include dine-in and takeout, given the nature of the positive reviews mentioning both lunch and dinner experiences. The speed of preparation mentioned by one reviewer suggests that they are efficient in handling orders, which would be beneficial for both dine-in customers and those opting for takeout. It is reasonable to assume they also offer standard amenities such as seating for various group sizes and typical restaurant service. To confirm if they offer delivery services, it would be necessary to contact the restaurant directly.
As for the features of their cuisine, the primary highlight is the dual offering of Chinese and Thai dishes. This allows customers with different preferences or those looking for variety to find suitable options. While the reviews mention specific dishes like moo goo gai pan and sesame chicken (Chinese), and imply the presence of Thai dishes without naming them, the full extent and specialties of each cuisine are not detailed. The positive feedback on generous portions and tasty meals suggests a commitment to providing satisfying culinary experiences in both styles. The contrast in flavor experience between the moo goo gai pan and sesame chicken indicates that some dishes might be more successful than others.
Promotional information is absent from the provided reviews. Restaurants often use promotions to attract customers, such as lunch specials (which one reviewer alluded to with "generous portions for lunch"), combination deals, or discounts on certain days or for specific menu items. To learn about any current promotions at Chili Thai II, local users would need to check their website (if available), social media (if active), or contact the restaurant directly.
In conclusion, Chili Thai II in Windsor, CO, offers a convenient dining location with ample parking and a diverse menu featuring both Chinese and Thai cuisine. Customers generally praise the generous portions, great service, and affordable prices. While some dishes, like the sesame chicken, are noted for being flavorful, there might be inconsistencies in the seasoning of other dishes, such as the moo goo gai pan. For local users in Windsor seeking a restaurant that provides a wide range of Asian options for lunch or dinner, Chili Thai II is worth considering. It is recommended to explore their menu to discover their specialties in both Chinese and Thai cuisines and to inquire about any current promotions they might be offering.

A good Chinese/Thai restaurant in a very convenient location with plenty of parking spaces. Very generous portions for lunch and dinner!! Great service! Tasty meals prepared quickly and fresh! Very affordable! There are Chinese dishes and Thai dishes on the menu. Plenty to choose from for a nice lunch or dinner! Highly recommend!!!
I recently ordered the moo goo gai pan, hoping for a flavorful meal, but it ended up being pretty bland. The vegetables were good, but the whole meal lacked seasoning, making the dish a bit underwhelming. To add to that, the portion of white rice was smaller than I expected, which didn’t help balance out the meal. Overall, it was okay, but definitely not as satisfying as I’d hoped. My friend got the sesame chicken which I tried a bite of and it was really nice and flavorful.
Have been referred to this place by numerous people with the claim that it's the best Chinese food place in Northern Colorado. They were not wrong! Discovering this little gem changed my appreciation and access to incredible Chinese cuisine. Do yourself a favor, make the drive... You are absolutely not regret it!
Chili Thai II in Windsor is one of our favorite places—whether we’re dining in or grabbing takeout, the food is consistently delicious and the staff is always kind and hard-working. My personal favorite is the sesame beef—perfectly crispy with just the right balance of sweet and savory. My boys absolutely love their fried rice, and it’s one of those reliable dishes we know will hit the spot every time. We’ve never been disappointed with anything we’ve tried, and the portions are generous.
I love going to Chili Thai I always go there with different people. I go with my friends and family. They have different sorts of boba and drinks. One thing is they a lot of options. It’s very fun! The food tastes amazing. They have a fish tank full of cool fish.
