While categorized under the platform as a Chinese Restaurant, customer reviews indicate that Chili & Curry offers a combination of Indian and Thai cuisine. One reviewer who was traveling through the area described the restaurant as a "gem," highlighting the freshly prepared nature of their food, noting that the estimated half-hour wait for their order (Chicken Vindaloo with a spicy request and Drums of Heaven) was a good sign of this freshness. They were highly satisfied with their meal, praising the excellent job in preparation and the evident care taken with each dish. This reviewer, despite only visiting once, expressed a strong intention to return multiple times on their next work trip to explore other offerings.

Another reviewer recommended several Indian dishes, including the Veggie Samosas, Mango Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Jakka Noodles, and the Basket of Naan, suggesting these are popular and well-received. However, this reviewer was not as enthusiastic about the Thai side of the menu, specifically mentioning the Basil Ginger Chicken as not being a favorite. Despite this, they consistently praised the service as "great" and described the staff as "nice" based on their experience.

Overall, Chili & Curry seems to be particularly strong in its Indian offerings, with customers consistently highlighting the flavorful and freshly made dishes. The service is also a notable positive aspect of the establishment. While the Thai cuisine received mixed feedback in the available review, the positive experiences with the Indian dishes and service suggest that local users in the Hicksville, New York area looking for quality Indian food should consider Chili & Curry. The mention of takeout and delivery options is implied by the nature of restaurant reviews, though not explicitly stated.

High Fives! i was traveling down the road, just minding my own my own affairs, when chili and curry caught me unaware. i am glad i followed my instincts, this place is a gem! my order: chicken vindaloo with a request for spicy. and drums of heaven. i found something to do for the 1/2 hour estimated time while they prepared this fabulous food. always take it as a good sign they make the freshest stewed delicacies. who am i to say they are the best? i am just gonna do what we all gotta do, Eat! but i can for certain say they did an excellent job making the food, and undoubtedly care for every dish that leaves their kitchen. when i am back next year for work. i will return a few times to check other offerings from this top notch establishment.

Recommend the Veggie Samosas, Mango Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Jakka Noodles & The Basket of Naan. Was not a big fan of the Thai side, like th Basil Ginger Chicken. Service was great. Nice staff from my experience

Had dinner here recently and it was ok. Good but not special. Felt like everything needed a touch more salt to lift the flavors.

Really good North Indian food. Some of the best chicken curry I've had (xacutti). Very good achari goat. The lamb thai curry was also quite good. Food ever slightly too salty but perfect if you like it with rice. Kulcha also was excellent. South Indian stuff was more hit or miss though. Good hakka noodles. The samosas were great, pakora left a lot to be desired. Of note, the menu on google has very out of date prices, and the menu on facebook is less out of date but still lower than what I was charged (each dish about a dollar more than fb, about 25 percent more than google). Would still definitely recommend.

Been here a couple of times, my wife and I never get past the appetizers. The drums of heaven and the chili shrimp are amazing. The veggie momos are very spicy but tasty, be careful! The most important part of the restaurant is the host, her politeness and energy are one of a kind. It wouldn't be the same without her.
