The most distinctive feature of Chifa Du Kang (Bird Road) lies in its unique Chifa cuisine. This culinary tradition emerged in Peru as a result of Chinese immigrants adapting their cooking to local ingredients and Peruvian palates. The menu at Chifa Du Kang (Bird Road) would likely showcase this blend, offering familiar Chinese dishes prepared with a Peruvian twist, as well as original creations that highlight the synergy between the two culinary worlds. Diners might expect to find dishes such as Arroz Chaufa (a Peruvian-style Chinese fried rice), Lomo Saltado (a stir-fried beef dish with soy sauce and ají amarillo), and various seafood preparations that incorporate both Chinese and Peruvian flavors.
The menu might also include classic Chinese dishes that have been adapted with Peruvian ingredients or cooking styles, as well as traditional Peruvian dishes that have been influenced by Chinese culinary techniques. This fusion could result in exciting and innovative flavor combinations that are both familiar and novel. We found this spot while trying to get to another place—and honestly, so glad we did! Total hidden gem here in Miami. The food was super delicious, the vibe was chill, and the service was on point. We’re definitely coming back! Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area. Thanks for the great experience! 10/10
Excellent food, so fast! We have family meal for 5 and could have served 8 people. Wonton soup was top notch. My favorite was fried rice and the lemon chicken. Great deal.
Got the wonton soup and something that was half rice with random meats and noodles with random meats. The soup was good, crisp, and filled with MSG - it really hit the spot. The rice & noodle dish was greasy hell. They could turn down on the frying oils and still serve good food. Not the best but decent enough for a decent price. Definitely a lot better than a lot of places in Miami. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive - no complaints there.
We love Chifa Du Kang from the owners Juana and Tao to the servers Jessica and Ruben they are the best. This is the best Peruvian Chinese food you will ever have in your life! It’s highly recommended by all our family and friends as well! Delicious and very affordable! Go and try it you won’t be disappointed! The one I’m speaking of is on bird rd and about 99 Ave!
My family and I have always dinned in the Kendall location, but TODAY WILL BE THE LAST TIME!!! We were sat in a small table where the dishes did not fit once they were brought to us. We asked to be moved to another table so that we could enjoy our meal and be comfortable. The manager “VANESSA” who I have never seen before refused to move us. She used as an excuse that those tables needed to stay available in case other customers walked in. I did complain stating that we arrived first and that we should be treated with the respect that we deserve. She continued to refuse to accommodate us and did not care that we were comfortable. The request that we made was not unreasonable due to the excess of available empty tables.. As a matter of fact when we finally finished dining even more tables were empty. It is a pity that a restaurant with such good cuisine has made such poor choices with hiring a manager that does not care for their customer's concerns. I’ve been a patron for many years and thanks to VANESSA I will never return. I attached pictures to make it clear that we lacked space and there was plenty of it around us.
