So glad I finally went! I checked out the vegetarian and vegan options, I have been missing vegan Chinese since Bamboo Garden closed. The vegetarian sweet and sour short ribs were so unique, savory and you can eat the "bones!" I have never had vegan dan dan mien (homemade pan fried noodles), it wasn't very tingly but still tasty. LOVED the fried pumpkin with salty egg, delicious, super savory. I got takeout but I would definitely dine in too. Warm and welcoming atmosphere with booths and big dim sum tables, plenty of folks eating midweek early dinner. Nice people.

Don’t let the outside appearance dissuade you, it’s delicious! Our host was very friendly and the smell of tasty food greets you right away. Highly recommend the Mongolian Beef, General Tso’s, and sesame noodles.

First time here, The good: I got the Dan Dan noodles, pictured on the left (requested to be extra spicy) and an appetizer I forget the name of, the dandan noodles were pretty good! Those were the first to be scarfed down, the other dish was pretty alright but didn't include much chicken, a few pieces but not much to go with the rest of the dish. The bad: it could be the timing that I went, around 4pm on Thursday, but it was completely empty the time I was here, and dead quiet. So, so, very quiet. I could hear the hum of electricity and the quiet working of the waiter, who was otherwise super kind! I wish there was some music or white noise to go with eating instead of complete silence other than the clatter of my cutlery against the plate. I would otherwise recommend take-out from here personally. The food is quite good otherwise.

I recently dined at Chang Gourmet Restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our expectations. Here's a breakdown of our dining experience: The Shrimp with Lobster Sauce was incredibly disappointing. The shrimp with lobster sauce lacked any real flavor and seemed more like they had simply taken cooked shrimp and added them to egg drop soup. The Orange Chicken was another letdown. The dish was overloaded with hot red peppers and dried orange peel, yet it had no distinct orange flavor. Instead, it tasted remarkably similar to a very salty teriyaki sauce. The hot and sour soup and wonton soup were both served cold, which was quite surprising and unpleasant. Overall, the food was not enjoyable, and the positive reviews we had read beforehand left us confused. Our experience at Chang Gourmet Restaurant was far from satisfactory.
