This restaurant offers a wide variety of options, including noodles, dumplings, and other Chinese dishes, making it a potential spot for various preferences. One customer who visited for a date night, with a partner who enjoys dim sum, tried the green beans, chicken fried rice, colorful dumplings, and pork soup dumplings.

They found the colorful dumplings to be creative and worth trying once. However, they noted an unexpected musky taste in the soup dumplings compared to previous experiences elsewhere. The chicken fried rice was considered good but a bit heavy on soy sauce and lacking a distinct amount of egg. The green beans were highlighted as a standout dish that they would highly recommend and order again.

The service was reported to be attentive and quick, with all dishes arriving within 10-15 minutes and the fried rice even faster. This customer indicated they would return, possibly focusing on the regular dumplings and exploring other menu items.

Another reviewer found the popular Biang Biang noodles to be "pretty good," suggesting that a bit more flavor could elevate them to delicious. They also noted a preference for more spiciness but understood the restaurant's approach. Additionally, they tried the Mongolian beef and Boiled Fish in Hot Sauce, describing both as "fine" but not exceptional.

Overall, Chef Sun's Noodle and Dumpling appears to be a reliable Chinese restaurant with a broad menu that is not overpriced. It might be a good place to sample various dumpling options and noodle dishes.

Partner loves dim sum, so we came here for date night. We got the green beans, chicken fried rice, the colorful dumplings, and some pork soup dumplings. I’d say the dumplings were creative and I don’t regret getting them, I don’t think I would again. There was also a musky taste to the soup dumplings that wasn’t terrible but was unexpected based on previous ones I’ve had. The chicken fried rice was good, but a bit heavy on the soy and lacking distinct amounts of egg. The green beans were the star of the show for me, and I really liked them and would order again a thousand times over. The service was attentive and quick. We got all of our dishes within 10-15 minutes with the fried rice coming out in less than 5. I would return here and focus more around the regular dumplings and maybe try some other options!

A nice restaurant with a wide variety of options. The Biang Biang noodles, which are very popular, were pretty good. I do think that with a bit more flavor they would've been delicious. I also personally prefer to have been more spicy but I understand why they avoided that. We also had the Mongolian beef and Boiled Fish in Hot sauce. Both were fine, but not exceptional. In general it seems to be a reliable but not overpriced Chinese restaurant. May come back to sample the dumplings.

Great food and service. The atmosphere is pretty good. I went on a Friday night and there was no wait. We ordered the stir fried green beans, chicken fried rice, colorful dumplings, and soup dumplings. The green beans were perfect, both in taste and texture. The fried rice was quite good, a little heavy on soy sauce, but still very delicious. The soup dumplings were very good, filled with 5-spiced soup and delicious pork. The colorful dumplings were very interesting. I am happy that I ordered and tried them, but I feel that their more normal dumplings may be better. I will certainly be returning.

Beef stripe noodles is OK. Large plate chicken noodles abuses the name. It is NOT large plate chicken noodles. Firstly, they stewed the chicken, rather than stir-fry it. The meat is too soft. Secondly, all ingredients are not well prepared together. Green peppers, onions, celery and cilantro are barely mixed, like I’m eating salad! I have to say the chef is terrible. This is home made food, not what i expect in a restaurant. Thirdly, food supply should be improved. Chicken and vegetable are the same as what i got from Walmart. Basically the cheapest. Finally, we also tried salt fried chicken. It is a total mess, probably the worst salt fried chicken i ever had. No basil flavor at all, probably they feel that fresh basil is too expensive to use. Wrong type of flour. Probably I should try dumplings instead, but what I ordered certainly wasn’t good.
