About Chef Lee Chinese Restaurant

Welcome to Chef Lee Chinese Restaurant, located at 11000 Kentucky Springs Rd, Mineral, VA 23117, USA. As a local Chinese restaurant, Chef Lee aims to provide a range of Chinese dishes for the residents and visitors of Mineral and the surrounding areas. We offer options for both dine-in and takeout, striving to cater to your preferences for enjoying our cuisine.

Based on the limited customer reviews available, insights into the environment of Chef Lee Chinese Restaurant are somewhat mixed. One review suggests a potentially less than ideal initial impression upon entering, where a customer felt they "should not have stayed." This was related to a request for a different table for more space, which the hostess seemed reluctant to accommodate, despite the table being a five-top for their party. This interaction might indicate a less flexible approach to seating arrangements, potentially impacting the initial comfort of some diners. Further information would be needed to provide a comprehensive overview of the restaurant's ambiance and typical customer experience regarding seating and overall environment.

Chef Lee Chinese Restaurant offers both dine-in and takeout services. One positive review highlighted the efficiency of ordering, stating that the customer was "able to order right away." This suggests a prompt order-taking process. The order mentioned was for a lunch combination, indicating that lunch specials or combination meals are likely available. However, another review detailed a significant issue with the dine-in service, where the customer experienced a very long wait time. As the only waitress appeared to be overwhelmed, the party waited "forever for everything" and ultimately left after over an hour without receiving their meals. This suggests that during busy periods, staffing levels might impact the speed and quality of service for dine-in customers. For takeout, the first review implies a relatively quick service as the customer was able to order promptly. To understand the typical service experience, especially during peak hours, additional feedback from other customers would be beneficial. You can contact Chef Lee Chinese Restaurant at (540) 894-8181 or +1 540-894-8181 to inquire about their services and place orders.

The features of Chef Lee Chinese Restaurant include a variety of Chinese dishes, as evidenced by the customer reviews. One reviewer specifically mentioned the "twice pulled pork combination" which came with an egg roll. They noted that the ingredients looked good and matched the taste. The meal was also provided with six sauces, a spoon, and a fork, indicating attention to providing necessary condiments and utensils for takeout orders. This suggests that Chef Lee offers combination meals and likely a selection of popular Chinese-American dishes. However, the second review does not provide specific feedback on the food quality, as the customers left before their order arrived due to the long wait time. Therefore, based on the available information, the "twice pulled pork combination" with positive remarks about its appearance and taste stands out as a featured item. To gain a broader understanding of the menu and the quality of other dishes, further customer reviews or a menu would be required.

Currently, there is no promotional information explicitly mentioned in the provided customer reviews. Restaurants often utilize promotions to attract customers, such as lunch specials, early bird discounts, family meal deals, or discounts on specific menu items. Given that one customer mentioned ordering a lunch combination at a specific price point, it is possible that lunch specials are a regular offering. To learn about any current promotions or special offers at Chef Lee Chinese Restaurant, it would be best to contact them directly at the phone numbers provided or inquire when visiting the restaurant. Their website or any online ordering platforms (if available) might also provide information on ongoing promotions.

In summary, Chef Lee Chinese Restaurant in Mineral, VA, offers a menu of Chinese cuisine with options for both dine-in and takeout. One customer had a positive experience with the "twice pulled pork combination" for lunch, noting its good taste and the inclusion of various sauces and utensils for a takeout order. However, another customer reported significant issues with the dine-in service, citing a long wait time due to apparent understaffing. Additionally, the initial interaction regarding seating was perceived negatively by another diner. While the food quality of at least one dish was praised, the overall experience seems to vary, particularly concerning the dine-in service and potentially the flexibility of seating arrangements. To get the most current information on their menu, services, and any promotions, and to form a comprehensive understanding of the dining experience, contacting Chef Lee Chinese Restaurant directly is recommended.

We walked in I knew immediately we should not have stayed. We were taken to a booth and we asked if we could sit at another table to give us more room. The booth would have been VERY tight for our party. The hostess seemed very unwilling to let us sit there. It was a five top table it's not like we were asking for a much larger table. The waitress seemed overwhelmed. She was the only one working. We waited forever for everything. Finally after over an hour without our meals we left. We had a small child with us who was getting restless. I understand the restaurant was busy but over an hour for our food not counting the time we sat waiting for someone to even take our drink order was ridiculous.

Food was greasy and the meet had a weird texture. The waiter was distracted and forgot my order a couple of times. The quality of this place has gone downhill.

This was honestly some of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. It was bland and unappetizing. The Lo Mein was so greasy, the crab Rangoon was way overcooked and dried out, and the fried rice didn’t even have any vegetables in it. Tasteless and gross food, I wouldn’t eat here again even if it was free.

I've tried Chef Lee a few times and tried several dishes. I'm just not a fan of anything i have ordered. Last night some friends wanted to get some take out from there. I ordered chicken chow main and chicken lettuce wraps. The chow main was slimy and bland. The lettuce for the lettuce wraps wouldn't wrap anything and some of it was brown. The filling for the lettuce wraps was sticky and tasted mainly of soy.
