Excellent place for authentic Sichuan food in New Haven. Semi-casual atmosphere with relaxing piano music playing as I dined. Service was good (food came out fast!) and I appreciated that they packed my leftovers for me. Chongqing chicken is one of my favorite dishes and it was great here — perfect blend of crunchy, salty, and spicy without being too overwhelming. The presentation was very cute too. I also loved the eggplant in garlic sauce, which was cooked until tender and sweet, with the surprising but lovely addition of seaweed as well. Really enjoyed everything I had and would come here again!

Overall good authentic food. Mongolian beef is the best, the rib tips were mainly bone, the fried chicken pieces were mainly breading, not good. Highly recommend yellow beef. The soup dumplings were ok but not the best and chicken and broccoli was really good too. Only complaint is after we were served, none of the waitresses came to check on the table if we needed anything.

My favorite Chinese restaurant has opened a second location in New Haven, and I couldn’t be more excited! Their food is seriously the best, and we thought everything was very consistent with their original location in Farmington. We went on the first day for their soft opening, and the staff was clearly well trained because everything went smoothly and our food arrived quickly. Gorgeous interior that’s reminiscent of the original location. It’s so good to have Chef Jiang in this part of the state now!

Came after their soft launch and they staff were doing really great! The food is amazing and it is good to see that the place had become very busy. Although I think they mixed up some orders we had food brought twice to our table that we didn’t order. I am sure they are just still trying to figure out a system.

The inside of this restaurant is beautiful! Unfortunately, we walked past it because the name online is different than the name on the restaurant. Plus the window view does no Justice to the exquisitely decor on the inside. We had a large party, so we had a round table in the back that turned as our food was presented to us. Everything was beautiful and smelled delicious. It was all cooked perfectly, only one meal lacked in seasoning. But that was out of 16 people! The short ribs with corn, was delicious but I needed salt. This was a fun experience, we enjoyed this as a birthday experience.
