Customer reviews for Chef Huang's present a varied experience. One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction with several dishes, including the PuPu Platter (suggesting leftover components), Egg Foo Yung (described as bland), and Beef and Broccoli. They also mentioned a negative perception of dining establishments along Richmond Highway and were not pleased with a request for a tip on a takeout order.

In contrast, another customer shared positive experiences with pick-up service, highlighting it as outstanding after an initial slow delivery. Their favorite dishes include wonton soup, crab rangoon, and General Tso's chicken, which they consistently found fresh, hot, and delicious. They also described the interior as small and cozy, albeit a bit dim, but noted that the amazing customer service more than compensated for it and appreciated the accuracy and readiness of their pick-up orders.

Overall, Chef Huang's appears to have loyal customers who appreciate their pick-up service and specific dishes like wonton soup, crab rangoon, and General Tso's chicken. However, potential customers should be aware of reports of inconsistent food quality and potentially long delivery times based on some feedback.

Nope.Nope. Nooooooppppeeee!!!! I knew it... wanted so bad to trust the food around these parts and #IKnewBetta PuPu Platter, as someone else mentioned chicken (ribs, wontons) was left over from lunch.... and they only gave me one egg roll #Gotz2GetOva Egg Foo Yung was very yellow and gravy was super thin.... bland. Beef??? and Broccoli.... I'on think so.... General Tsos Chicken (never really cared for it and remember why).. Combination Moo Shi, this was halfway decent. Richmond Highway leaves a whole lot to be desired when it comes to eating out...... I've lived here 18 years and almost never eat from the establishments on the side of town. #SorryNotSorry Lost $70 and they had the nerve to want to tip for takeout. #YeahRight

I've ordered from here several times, and while my first delivery experience wasn’t great—it took over an hour—the pick-up service has been outstanding ever since. Their wonton soup, crab rangoon, and General Tso's chicken are my absolute favorites, and they never disappoint. Every time, the food is fresh, hot, and delicious! I’ll admit, I’m usually a little hesitant about places on Richmond Highway, but this spot is truly a hidden gem. The inside is small and cozy, though it’s a bit dim for my taste. That said, the amazing customer service completely makes up for it. I don’t mind stopping by to pick up my orders because they’re always accurate and ready to go. I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try!

This is our go-to spot for Chinese food since we live nearby. We take out here at least once a month, sometimes more. Food is very good. Their orange chicken, sesame chicken, General’s chicken always hits. We also really like their chow fun noodles and the egg rolls are huge and have a good veggie to wonton ratio. Their shrimp dishes are also extremely good and the shrimp are huge with their shrimp with walnuts being a favorite. Portion sizes here are great. They are also very fast and getting the orders ready. I recommend picking up vs ordering delivery so the food is hot and fresh.

I decided to switch things up today and tried Chef Huang's chicken wing lunch special. It was 10.55. That was a mistake. 😅 The restaurant is nice and clean, but the food was subpar. Not only was the fried rice BLAND and lazy, but the chicken wings were dry and flavorless as well. I won't be back. Especially with TOP'S CHINA only 3 minutes away.
