About Chef Chen Chinese Restaurant

Welcome to Chef Chen Chinese Restaurant, a local establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category, situated at 11302 Quail Roost Dr, Miami, FL 33157, USA. Chef Chen aims to provide a diverse menu of Chinese-inspired dishes, primarily catering to takeout customers. For orders or inquiries, please contact them at (305) 234-8877 or +1 305-234-8877.

Based on the available customer reviews, Chef Chen Chinese Restaurant is generally appreciated for its generous portion sizes and fair pricing, especially when compared to other takeout options in the area. One reviewer, who ordered a substantial amount of food for a party of twelve, noted that the food portion was "great for the price," particularly for large orders of rice and meats. This suggests that Chef Chen offers good value for money, especially for group orders or those seeking larger servings.

The menu at Chef Chen appears to be varied, with several dishes receiving specific mentions. The honey garlic chicken was highlighted as a favorite by one reviewer. Other dishes ordered included pepper steak, General Tso's chicken, and sweet and sour chicken, all of which were described as "good." This indicates that Chef Chen offers a range of popular American Chinese dishes that are generally well-received.

However, not all dishes met the same level of satisfaction. The chicken fried rice platter was a point of criticism for one reviewer, who found it "not that good." They noted a strong peanut-like smell, which they speculated might be due to an excess of sesame oil. Given that fried rice is a staple in many Chinese restaurants, this feedback is important for potential customers who highly value this dish.

Another area for potential improvement, according to the same reviewer, is the spring rolls, which were described as smaller than lumpia. This suggests that the size or quality of their spring rolls might not be on par with customer expectations.

In contrast to the specific feedback on the fried rice and spring rolls, a separate review simply stated that the "food is good," reinforcing the positive sentiment towards the overall quality of the dishes, with the exceptions noted. This suggests that while some inconsistencies or areas for refinement might exist, the general standard of food at Chef Chen is satisfactory for many customers.

Information regarding the environment of Chef Chen Chinese Restaurant is limited in the provided reviews. Since both reviews focus on takeout orders, there are no specific mentions of the dine-in ambiance, decor, or cleanliness of the restaurant. It is therefore difficult to provide an objective description of the environment based solely on this information. Customers interested in dining in would need to inquire directly with the restaurant about the availability and atmosphere of their dine-in facilities.

In terms of services, Chef Chen primarily caters to takeout, as indicated by both reviews discussing their orders for off-site consumption. One reviewer specifically mentioned that "service is fast and the staff is friendly," which are crucial aspects for a positive takeout experience. Efficient service ensures that customers can quickly pick up their orders, while a friendly staff contributes to overall customer satisfaction. While online ordering is not explicitly mentioned, it is common for takeout-focused restaurants to offer phone-in orders, and possibly online ordering through their own platform or third-party services. Delivery options are not mentioned in the reviews, so customers requiring delivery would need to confirm if this service is available.

Promotional information is not included in the provided customer reviews. Chinese restaurants often offer various promotions to attract customers, such as lunch specials, combination deals, or discounts for large orders. Given that one reviewer placed a significant order for a party, Chef Chen might offer special pricing or deals for large quantities. To learn about any current promotions or special offers, customers are advised to contact Chef Chen Chinese Restaurant directly at (305) 234-8877 or +1 305-234-8877. They may also have menus or promotional materials available at their location or online if they have a website or social media presence.

In conclusion, Chef Chen Chinese Restaurant in Miami, FL, is a takeout-focused establishment known for its generous portion sizes and fair prices. While the honey garlic chicken, pepper steak, General Tso's chicken, and sweet and sour chicken have been positively reviewed, the chicken fried rice received criticism for its smell, and the spring rolls were noted for being smaller than expected. Overall, the food quality is generally considered good, and the service is described as fast and friendly. Due to the limited information on the dine-in environment, customers interested in this aspect should inquire directly with the restaurant. For information on any current promotions or the full menu, contacting Chef Chen at (305) 234-8877 or +1 305-234-8877 is recommended.

Ordered about $75 worth of food for a party of about 12… The food portion was great for the price, considering we ordered large portions of rice and meats. We got the chicken fried rice platter which IMO was not that good. It smelled heavy of peanut which I think may have been an excess of sesame oil. The honey garlic chicken was my favorite of all the meats we ordered. We also ordered, pepper steak, general tsos and sweet/sour chicken. All good too. I had to take 2 stars for the rice cuz it was that bad and it’s always my favorite part. Also, they could do better on their spring rolls. They were smaller than lumpia’s.

Good Taste; good Price ; tasted good; hot Food( taken it Home 5 Minutes away) and a clean little Restaurant where you sit to enjoy;;. I must remove 2 Stars - from 5 to 3;; because last Week we went again and I visit the Restroom - but the Restroom is not really clean. A lot of Dust at the Wall and Dust at the Holder from the Toilettepaper - the Whole Room need a clean Upgrade. But my first Review - 11 Month ago - about the good Food is still current and correct.
