Chatpati Delhi

An excellent addition to the New Jersey desi food scene. Everything we tried was good. Service was quick and efficient. There were just three of us diners and that limited how much we could order and taste. So I am coming back in a bigger group to try more items on the menu.

I live about 40 minutes south in Lawrenceville, and the food at Chatpati is worth the drive up. Easily the best Indian cuisine I’ve had in Jersey despite the humble ambiance. Think fast casual, but with a culinary team that has deep respect, and love, for the food they create. Every dish was executed well. Big flavors, contrasting textures, gracious staff. Will return often.

Best chat place in NJ. Gets really packed , so make sure you visit off peak times if possible. Super fast service. Amazing chats. Plenty of different menu items to try from. Kids menu available. Thali item changes regularly. Love this place. Must try for any chat lovers.

Absolutely incredible! Best Indian restaurant. Pradeep is so amazing, and all the staff are so amazing. They treat you and feed you like family! The food brings you back to Delhi. The environment is lovely with great music, everything is very clean. Everyone is so kind and ready to help. Moreover the food is the best desi food in Jersey. Delicious chai, gol gappa, Raj kachori, saag, paneer, cheese kulcha, chocolate shake and halwa! Such good food that warms the soul! Will definitely be coming back over and over!

Great place for authentic Indian food especially Delhi food. The chats are superb. This the best place for chats in NJ. I will be going there again. Clean place and friendly staff too.
