Chara's Kitchen ...Riverhead CSD DOT thanks you so much for the baked yams for our festive Christmas event 2024. They were a huge hit !

This evening was my first time ordering and it was unbelievably delicious. I had the fried whiting and shrimp combo with potato salad, collard greens, sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese. It was like having Sunday dinner at Grandmas. It was delivered by DoorDash and got to me in a timely manner. It’s wonderful to have authentic soul food in this area. Definitely a repeat customer.

Found this place on Google. Good places to eat that's all I searched lol. Got two fried Whiting combos with mac and cheese, potato salad and creamy grits. It was so delicious, her timing is great and I will definitely be going back there! That mac and cheese is amazing. The only thing I would say is i wish the sides were just a scoop bigger for the price. The fish is amazing for the price huge Whiting, and fried to perfection !and I love the piece of bread on the bottom and lemon.

Today was the first time I ordered and I was glad I did Everything was tasty and fresh ,exquisitely delicious! Door Dash was an excellent service and had it to my door in a half hour. Can’t rave enough about the chicken,yams, pot salad Mac & cheese, collard’sTop it off the banana pudding was incredible Now I have to take a nap. LOL!

I was so disappointed with the food. I decided to pick this based off the great reviews. First , I waited a whole hour to get my food so that alone turned me off. We get the food and the food was not seasoned AT ALL. The candied yams was not tasty. The chicken was okay but the bread was just a sliced bread . It was soggy. The Atlantic salmon was burnt and dry. I was given grits with soggy veggies that I didn’t ask for. The grits were way to runny with no season. Everything that I ordered was not advertised. The way it was plated it just seems like the person didn’t care. I payed $60 for food and I didn’t enjoy.
