Chang’s Food

A real gem in West Valley. A fusion of Chinese food with a Venezuelan flare which enhances the flavours. The food is great and with great portions.The fried rice is a must try, the specialty of the house. The 8 flavours (ocho sabores) is also fantastic. Jimmy, the owner, was extremely kind and his service was outstanding as well as our server Diana. The quality of the food is not reflected on the prices, this is actually cheap for its quality, trust me. Plenty of parking around and easy to find. Totally recommended if you want a great culinary experience.

Not bad. The fried rice was very good, the best I've had so far in SL. The meat was good and the portions are generous. The ribs weren't tender enough and lacked a bit of sweetness.

We decided to try a new place and all the good reviews were encouraging. I asked what Bittersweet chicken was and the server said it is like Orange chicken. I wanted to order the combo with white rice but was told I had to have fried rice or order everything separately. Egg rolls (veggie) are very greasy and it’s literally cabbage and a couple strips of ham (which is not a vegetable) Chicken came out and it tastes nothing like Orange chicken. No flavor. Sweet and kept tasting metal. Chicken tough & dry, white rice was ok. My bf got ham fried rice and there was way too much green onion and no egg?? Very dry. The food has no flavor. The staff was nice but when we asked about the added surprise 15% service fee, she said it was because they bring the food and take the plates away…then they ask for a tip onto of that. Not cool…we won’t be back. The large portions do not make up for the subpar experience. I wonder if all the 5 star reviews are legit 🤔

Great place. It’s a mix between Chinese and Venezuela food you need to come here and try is reallyyyyy yummy….🙂

I was concerned about the pricing at this establishment, as they charge $9 for a surprisingly small portion. Dining in is more economical because the portions are larger. This raises questions about the value being offered to customers.
