About 차이홍 중화요리 Chai Hong K-Chinese Cuisine

차이홍 중화요리 Chai Hong K-Chinese Cuisine, located at 3131 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd Ste C10, Suwanee, GA 30024, USA, presents itself as a Korean-Chinese restaurant, offering a blend of familiar Chinese dishes with Korean culinary influences. This establishment provides a reasonable dining experience for those in the Suwanee area looking to explore this unique cuisine.

Based on customer feedback, the service at 차이홍 중화요리 is generally well-regarded, with mentions of "great service" and a "friendly server." The restaurant appears to offer generous food portions, which customers have noted as being better than many other places they have visited.

A featured dish seems to be the non-spicy seafood noodle soup, which includes noodles that appear to be homemade and have a chewy texture. Customers have appreciated the freshness of this dish and the substantial amount of seafood it contains, including a "big octopus," which sets it apart from other restaurants. Another popular item is the seafood stir fry, noted for its decent portion size and the impressive variety of ingredients such as squid, octopus, sea urchin, shitake mushrooms, bamboo, and even ginkgo nuts. While one customer preferred their rice served separately, the overall taste of the stir fry was considered good, with a sauce that was not overly salty.

The price point is mentioned as being around $20 per person, which is considered reasonable given the food quality and quantity. Diners also receive a few basic complimentary Korean side dishes, adding to the value of the meal.

Overall, 차이홍 중화요리 Chai Hong K-Chinese Cuisine offers a satisfying dining experience with generous portions and a diverse menu of Korean-Chinese dishes. The seafood noodle soup and the seafood stir fry appear to be popular choices among patrons. While some dishes might have minor drawbacks, the positive aspects, particularly the quality and amount of food, along with the friendly service, make it a place that customers would consider returning to, especially for dishes like the seafood noodle soup. Reasonable dining experience. The food is good for the price, and it's a good spot to check out if you're in the Suwanee area and want to try a new Korean-Chinese restaurant. While the taste was good, it didn't quite reach the level of some other places I've tried.

First time here for weekend lunch. Great service. Friendly server. Food amount/portion size was better than most other places. Noodles in non-spicy seafood noodle soup looked like homemade chewy type. Tasted very fresh. There was actually a decent amount of seafood unlike other places we've been to. Big octopus too. Seafood stir fry was decent amount. I just didn't like the rice underneath. I like my rice in a separate bowl. The corn starch sauce was a bit too thick and got cold quick with the air blowing. Taste was good. Not too salty. Price was a bit high. However, the variety of items in this dish is amazing. There were also little yellow ginkgo nuts in the dish as well as sea urchin, squid, octopus, shitake mushrooms, bamboo, etc. Overall, around $20 per person. Food quality and amount is good though. You also get a few basic complimentary Korean side dishes. We would definitely come back for the seafood noodle soup. This place was way better than the Fung Mei down the street.

Wow!!! The noodles were the best I’ve experienced in the USA - on par with something I’d see in Seoul, Beijing or Tokyo. The Tang Su was flavorful and perfectly crisp and the jjamjang was perfectly seasoned the hand made noodles stole the show. Service was warm and friendly - with a great ambience would highly recommend if you are looking for a good Korean Chinese this is certainly now in our regular spots!!

Everything we ordered tasted extraordinary until a horrible thing happened. We found a broken piece of stainless steel dish wash scrubber in the spicy seafood noodle. It is quite sharp at the edges. This could be very serious if someone especially kids accidentally swallow it. Then I realized we should pay more attention to food safety issues, than the taste and price. Later on, I will report more restaurant safety and food freshness problems. If you feel the same, please like my comment and help our local restaurants get better.

Dishes are big and flavorful. Definitely come with friends. The fried dumplings are full and crispy. The noodles are spicy! The fried chicken garlic and peppers were delicious!!!
