About CEO Noodles
Located at 130 E Santa Clara St in San Jose, California, CEO Noodles distinguishes itself within the Chinese Restaurant category by offering a unique dining experience characterized by a vibrant atmosphere and a focus on flavorful noodle dishes. Based on customer reviews, CEO Noodles provides a visually interesting environment, a convenient self-service system complemented by attentive staff, and a menu featuring a variety of noodle soups and other Chinese dishes.
The environment at CEO Noodles is consistently described as "unique and lively" with an "artistic, colorful interior" that creates a "fun and vibrant atmosphere." The decor is further elaborated as "colorful, bright and modern in a good way," suggesting a departure from more traditional Chinese restaurant aesthetics. This visually stimulating setting makes CEO Noodles a potentially appealing spot for those who appreciate a more contemporary and energetic dining ambiance. The distinctive decor is a key feature that contributes to the overall experience of dining at this establishment.
In terms of service, CEO Noodles employs a "self-service setup," which is noted for its convenience. This likely involves customers placing their orders at a kiosk or counter. However, despite the self-service model, the staff is highlighted as "attentive and ready to help when needed." This balance between convenience and readily available assistance ensures that customers can navigate the ordering process easily while still having access to support if required. One reviewer specifically mentioned that the staff was accommodating in taking orders for items not listed on the self-ordering touchscreen, indicating a flexible and helpful approach to customer service.
A primary feature of CEO Noodles is its emphasis on noodle dishes. The restaurant seems to be "known for its noodles," making this a central aspect of its culinary identity. Among the noodle offerings, the "Laksa" stands out as a dish that has been tried by multiple reviewers. One customer described it as having "good flavor" but falling short of being "exceptional," suggesting room for improvement. However, another reviewer from Malaysia found the "Spiced Laksa Noodles Soup" to be highly satisfying, effectively meeting their cravings for good curry noodles. This reviewer noted that the spiciness was mild for their palate but might be more intense for others. The Laksa is described as being "very flavorful" and containing a generous amount of ingredients, including shrimp, mussels, clams, tofu, half an egg, fish cake, and plenty of noodles, making it a filling option.
Another notable noodle dish is the "Savory Beijing Beef Noodles," which was reported to be "very good" by one customer. This indicates that CEO Noodles offers a variety of noodle preparations, catering to different regional Chinese flavors and preferences. The positive feedback on both the Laksa and the Beijing Beef Noodles suggests that noodles are indeed a strong suit of this restaurant.
Interestingly, while Pho noodles were not listed on the self-ordering kiosk, the staff at CEO Noodles were willing to take orders for this popular Vietnamese noodle soup separately, accommodating the preferences of younger diners in one family. This flexibility in service and willingness to go beyond the standard menu offerings is a noteworthy feature that enhances customer satisfaction.
Beyond noodles, CEO Noodles also offers other dishes, including "Dungeness Crab, silky eggplant, and pork leg." While one reviewer found these dishes to be "tasty," they did not stand out as "must-tries." This suggests that while the non-noodle options are decent, the noodle dishes might be the primary reason to visit CEO Noodles. The inclusion of Dungeness Crab on the menu indicates a willingness to offer more premium seafood options alongside their staple noodle fare.
Currently, the provided reviews do not contain any information about specific promotions or special offers at CEO Noodles. Therefore, an objective introduction cannot include any details about discounts, combo deals, or limited-time offerings. Local users interested in potential promotions might need to check the restaurant's website or inquire directly when visiting.
In summary, CEO Noodles in San Jose offers a unique and lively dining environment with a colorful and modern decor. The self-service system is convenient, and the staff is attentive and helpful. The restaurant's focus is on noodle dishes, with the Laksa receiving mixed but generally positive reviews, and the Beijing Beef Noodles being well-regarded. They also offer other Chinese dishes like Dungeness Crab, silky eggplant, and pork leg, which are considered tasty but not exceptional. The willingness to accommodate off-menu requests, such as Pho, highlights a flexible approach to customer service. While no specific promotions are mentioned in the reviews, the overall experience suggests that CEO Noodles is a nice spot to try for those seeking flavorful noodle dishes in a vibrant setting. For local users in San Jose looking for a Chinese restaurant with a contemporary ambiance and a variety of noodle options, CEO Noodles at 130 E Santa Clara St is worth considering.

Unique and lively restaurant with an artistic, colorful interior that creates a fun and vibrant atmosphere. The self-service setup is convenient, but the staff is attentive and ready to help when needed. As for the food, it was decent but not particularly memorable. Since the restaurant seemed to be known for its noodles, I ordered the Laksa. While it had good flavor, it fell short of being exceptional—I think there’s definitely room for improvement. We also tried the Dungeness Crab, silky eggplant, and pork leg. All were tasty but none stood out as must-tries. Overall, it’s a nice spot to try.
Our family of 4 came in to have dinner on a Sunday night. It was a quiet evening. The decor was different--colorful, bright and modern in a good way. I ordered the Spiced Laksa Noodles Soup, and let me tell you this, it was good. Being from Malaysia, this more than satisfied my cravings for some good curry noodles. It was mildly spicy (I can eat very spicy food so it may be spicy for you) and very flavorful, with 2 pieces of shrimp, mussels, clams, tofu, half an egg, fish cake, and plenty of noodles to fill you up. My wife ordered the Savory Beijing Beef Noodles and she said it was very good. Both our kids love their Pho noodles, which weren't on the menu on the self ordering touchscreen kiosk but the lady gladly took the orders separately. Definitely would come back again.
I’ve been CEO noodles since its grand opening. Already ordered multiple time for my family and friends. Highly recommend the takeout foods in canned containers if you want to save up for one week in fridge, ask the staff for the canned items, they even give you discount for order over $300. My friends all love the beautiful glass bottles from 8oz to 16oz, especially the veggie appetizer paired with rice, noodle or even salad.
Amazing design. I came in for spicy Laksa noodles and while they are card only servers here used there card when I only had cash. The sea food noodles were fresh. Eggs are noticeable Marinated and cooked till there jammy inside. Claims galore and very spicy and creamy. Chili oil was homade and they offer seafood sauce which were basically Marinated claims to add while eating. Honestly very noticeable high quality and the design of this place is so unique and vibrant. Amazing food with a great view.
The food is lovely and really hit the spot. I was skeptical when I walked in to an empty restaurant (around 4pm) and had to order from a screen. Being close to the university, I assumed maybe the food wouldn't be too good. Ordered the beef noodle soup and a tea. It came out quickly and was delicious. The noodles and beef were perfectly cooked and the broth flavorful. Oncr I met them, the restaurant staff were very friendly and I came away very pleased with this place.
