Cat Daddy's Fish House

They call him the Cat Daddy for a reason. This was the best fried catfish I've EVER had. He cooked it to order and brought it out piping hot. The fried okra was amazing. Also some of the most loving and friendly customer service I've ever seen. Wish I could give more than 5 stars ❤️

I was looking for something easy to eat on the Go after running into Victoria Secret to grab a few items. Decided on Cat Daddy's in the food court BC I'm a little partial to southern cooking. Ordered the Hamburger 🍔 Combo. It took at least 20min + to get my order. While they were not busy. Although there was one cashier and one cook. The mother in law of the owner was friendly. Got my food and my sweet tea (which was the right amount of diabetes! 🥰😆) And went to the vehicle to be on my way! Couldn't wait to open my food and grub. Open up my box and see that they gave me a cheeseburger after her writing my order for a "Hamburger" and her&the cook double checking verbally it's no cheese dressed with no tomato! 🥴🤦🏽‍♀️There was literally mustard and ketchup oozing out and the meat was thin,burger smashed and sliding to the point the burger wouldn't stay between the buns making a complete mess. Burger was a 1/10. Wouldn't recommend. Wouldn't order again. To say the least I was disappointed. Was hoping for a good burger.

From time to time I find myself eating at airport or shopping mall food courts and I am shocked and delighted when I come across a hidden jewel. Today was not one of those days. From Cat Daddy's in the Edgewater Mall food court, I ordered the fish and shrimp combo with a side of fried okra. I forgot to ask what kind of fish it was. It was catfish of course! I hate catfish! The breading was too garlicky for my taste and I love garlic, just not so much on fried fish. I didnt get that so much from the shrimp, but they were not something I would order another plate of. The okra may have been ok if so many of them weren't fried stuck together which leads me to believe that this was a bunch of frozen pre-breaded food. I have deluded myself into thinking that since I am on the Gulf Coast, I am going to automatically get good seafood and Southern cooking but I just keep getting disappointed.

Cat Daddy's is located inside the Biloxi Edgewater Mall. The fried catfish is well seasoned & fried crispy! The fried okra is delicious.

The flavor of the food was fantastic but the value just isn't there. A 12 combo cost me around $18 included fries and a drink (no refills). These were without a doubt the smallest wings that I have ever seen. Most of them were smaller than the accompanying fries. I took a picture I just couldn't get it to upload
