About Cashew Station Drive Thru

Cashew Station Drive Thru, located at 620 E Battlefield Rd in Springfield, Missouri, offers a convenient option for those seeking Chinese cuisine through its drive-thru service. As a part of the Chinese Restaurant category, Cashew Station aims to provide quick and accessible meals. This introduction will offer an objective overview of the restaurant based on the limited customer feedback available online, focusing on the food quality and service aspects mentioned by reviewers.

Given its name, a primary feature of Cashew Station is its drive-thru service. This offers a significant convenience for customers who prefer to pick up their orders without leaving their vehicles, making it a suitable option for quick meals on the go. While the reviews do not explicitly describe the dine-in environment, the emphasis on the drive-thru suggests that takeout is a core aspect of their service model. The speed and efficiency of the drive-thru are not directly commented on in the provided feedback, but the very presence of this service indicates a focus on accessibility.

The services offered by Cashew Station primarily revolve around providing Chinese food for takeout via the drive-thru. Customers can place their orders and receive their meals without needing to enter the restaurant. While not explicitly stated, it is reasonable to assume that phone orders are also accepted, as is common with drive-thru establishments, the phone number being (417) 881-4900 or +1 417-881-4900. The reviews do not mention delivery services or the option for dine-in, so the drive-thru and likely takeout orders seem to be the primary modes of service.

Based on the limited customer feedback, Cashew Station has some standout features in its menu. One reviewer consistently ranks it as a favorite Chinese place, specifically praising the Crab Rangoon for its soft, flaky, and sweet characteristics, describing it as "well done." This suggests that the Crab Rangoon is a popular and well-received appetizer. The same reviewer also notes that the fried rice is good, and the sweet and sour entrée is consistently enjoyable. These dishes appear to be highlights for at least one regular customer.

However, another review presents a contrasting perspective. This customer, influenced by a high overall star rating and numerous reviews, expressed significant disappointment with their experience. They found the food to be "really bland," lacking in taste despite not being inherently bad. This reviewer, visiting from out of town and hoping for a good Chinese meal, felt that the food quality was akin to that of someone inexperienced in Chinese cooking. Their order, consisting of two entrees, two drinks, and an appetizer, totaled $41, which they felt was not justified by the blandness of the food. They sarcastically suggested that if one doesn't believe the negative reviews, they should at least try the soda, which they found to be "actually pretty good." This starkly contrasts with the positive feedback regarding specific dishes from the other reviewer.

The discrepancy in these two reviews highlights the potential for variability in food quality or individual preferences. While one customer consistently enjoys certain dishes like the Crab Rangoon and sweet and sour entrée, another found the overall taste to be severely lacking. This makes it challenging to form a definitive conclusion about the general food quality at Cashew Station based solely on these two accounts.

No specific promotional information is mentioned in the provided reviews. Chinese restaurants often offer lunch specials, combination deals, or discounts on certain days. To inquire about any current promotions or special offers at Cashew Station Drive Thru, it would be best to contact them directly at the provided phone numbers: (417) 881-4900 or +1 417-881-4900. Local users interested in trying this restaurant may find it beneficial to ask about any deals that could be available.

In conclusion, Cashew Station Drive Thru in Springfield, MO, offers the convenience of a drive-thru service for customers seeking Chinese food on the go. While one reviewer praises their Crab Rangoon and sweet and sour entrée, another found the food to be bland and overpriced for the quality. This suggests that experiences may vary. Local users might want to consider these differing opinions when deciding whether to try Cashew Station. If specific dishes like the Crab Rangoon are appealing, it might be worth a try, but the feedback regarding blandness in other dishes should also be noted. For information on the menu and any current promotions, direct contact with the restaurant is recommended.

I will say this is always one of my fav chinese places. Their crab Rangoon is so soft and flakey, sweet and just well done. They have good fried rice but we tend to get the sweet and sour entrée and it is always so good!

The amount of reviews and almost 5 stars made me ignore the bad reviews. Don't make my mistake. For 2 entrees, 2 drinks, and an app it was $41. The food was really bland it didn't taste bad it just didn't have a taste. This is what I would expect from someone who has never made the food before not a place who sells it daily. We are not from the area we were just hoping to find a good Chinese place as we passed through and this wasn't it. IF you don't believe me or the other reviews do yourself a favor and get a soda that was actually pretty good.

This has always been one of my go-to places for Chinese food in Springfield. So many good options. I'm a big fan of their egg drop soup, and their stir-frys. The owners are kind, hard working people. Love supporting them!

We asked for low mein they put in in the wrong dish the order taker didn't listen to us and messed our whole order up. The food just wasn't that great portions small plus the order mess up just put a bad taste in my mouth. It was so expensive because they added extra chicken and wouldn't take it off the order when we asked them to.

I used to eat here a bunch with family, but recently I think they've gotten worse. Because, they tipped themselves 25% of what we paid, there was hardly any food, and the food made me sick to my stomach afterwards and right now I have a major headache and feel like vomiting. Would not recommend to anyone. You can go to Hong Kong inn, it's a whole lot better, better prices, people and what not. Seriously, cashew station used to be good. But now, it's BAD.
