Very pleased with stumbling upon this gem near the beach! I wanted authentic Filipino food and after reading a few Google reviews, I knew I had to drive and try this place out. The menu is fully stocked with Filipino beers as well as in house. Really enjoyed the Ube coconut Porter, which was suggested by the server. It wasn’t bitter at all, but it did have depth in flavor! We ordered the lumpia and it wasn’t oily at all, I almost wonder if they’re using avocado oil there or maybe a better alternative than vegetable or canola. There were a lot of dishes to choose from, but we got the sizzling sisig which was full of flavor and served up on a hot plate. Definitely need to come back and order some of the main dishes. Will report back and update my review then! Otherwise, go check it out if you’re thinking about it I highly recommend this spot for good service great food and the perfect ambience off of the main road. Oh, and try to walk to the beach afterwards—you’ll be full!

After moving to Encinitas from Mira Mesa, I had not found any good Asian food or Filipino food in this area. However, when I found this place, I was very excited. I tried the lumpia and the Bistek which was really good, I have come twice for the Bistek as my grandmother would make this for me alot as a kid. The sauce / soup was so flavorful. I am looking forward to trying the milkfish and the Beef Stew (Caldereta).

I've been coming here for a handful of years and I always have the best experience. I have never waited for seating, and the service is quick and friendly. An underrated part of the atmosphere is the fresh breeze during lunch hour and the low noise level regardless of when you dine. It makes it extremely easy to have conversations. The food is presented nicely, and the meat entries are always juicy and bursting with flavor. I've had the pancit, lumpia, chicken inasal, bisteak, pork belly, beef soup, and a few others and could never go wrong. The garlic fried rice is essential, and don't pass on the pickled cucumber! Finally, the halo-halo dessert is a must. In a word, it's FUN! There is so much variation in the dish that it's part dessert part puzzle. Not to mention, totally delicious. Hard to share, easy to consume so you might want to get your own.

We found this restaurant by accident when we were walking around Encinitas and decided to try and was happy we did. We really love their kare-kare! Planning to come back and try the other food on the menu ☺️

$5 wine and beer happy hour! Also great lumpia and the garlic peanuts were awesome! Perfect happy hour snack in the outdoor seating
