Canton Buddha

The woman at the counter was mean. Complained that her manager was an hour late and he’s always late. She was very unfriendly and curt. I typically go to Chin Chin or China Garden. Came here tonight to try something new especially because of the convenience next to Publix. Food was bland, watered down. Forgettable. Won’t go back. Would rather drive across town for a pleasant experience and tasty food!

This is the nearest Chinese takeout place to me so I stopped by today. The location is super convenient and there's plenty of parking. The interior is dated and not particularly nice, but that's okay. I'm here for the food. A guy was at the front desk. This might be a family business and he's helping out. Lots of empathy to those working in the restaurant business, especially family owned ones. No star edition or subtraction for this. I'm taking out so it doesn't really matter. The menu is priced like you would expect in Buckhead. For dine-in, I have a minimum 18% gratuity in which they explain it's for the extra wages during COVID. I think this is smart and I fully support this! I ordered the house fried rice. It was solid. Generous portions. Not too salty, like most places in this category.

I was apprehensive about eating here with all of the negative reviews. I disagree with them. This place was very good. The potstickers was great and the spicy pork was very good. The service was nice and the place was clean. I thought the food was freshly prepared and very tasty.

The owner basically tossed my change on the counter instead of my hand. I felt extremely disrespected. I will never order here again. I honestly wanted a refund but I know they have no refunds. I didn’t want to make a scene or get my food spit in so I kept my composure, but I will no longer support Canton Buddha.

Food was decent and their hours of operation are VERY impressive! They're open until 4am. Only issue I had with the food was that the broccoli wasn't cooked long enough, was expecting it to be a little softer than it was. The food was really good though! The rice was perfect! The chicken and sauce was really good too! Their hours are so AWESOME. Only Chinese food open this late in the area. Period.
